DEADLINE FOR TURNING IN ALL LIBRARY BOOKS IS FRIDAY, MAY 17 Student Orientation today! 9th grade students will be going to high school. 9th grade students will enter auditorium and get important informa tion from high school staff. At the end, 9th grade students will draw numbers for Union Registration. Students will be eating in the student union. If you have money in your lunch account or have free lunch each day, you may us e your lunch ID number. If you do not have money in your account, please bring money. 8th grade s tudents will vote for student council for next year. They will be reporting to the volleyball gym while 7th g rade students come over from East Hills. 8th g rade students might want to bring money for snacks. Volleyball boosters will be selling snacks. All 8th grade students will have A Lunch on Tuesday. We will only have one lunch today. All students will be released to 4th period @ 11:30 on Tuesday. Congratulations to Jackson Mitchell for earning All –Tournament team honors at the Quiz Bowl Association’s Junior High All-Star Tournament on Saturday. Jackson had the 4th highest averag e of the 80 participants. Only students who were named to All – tournament teams at their classifications’ regional or state finals tourna ments were invited to participate. Freshman Samia Ismail also participated. Student Council student/faculty basketball game will be on May 20th . Any freshmen boy can sign up. Sign up by Mrs. Brewer's room. If more than 20 sign up, a random draw will held to choose the 20 that will play. Auditions for Belle Canto & Jazz Ensemble this week. Belle Canto is a 9th grade select choir and Jazz Ensemble is a 9th - 12th grade girls and boys ensemble. Any student interested in becoming a member of one of these select choirs should come to the Choir ro om to sign up for an audition time ASAP.
