√ Return all textbooks and library books. (Families are billed for missing books)
√ Report cards are handed out the last day of school. (Accounts must be current to receive final report cards)
The Psalmist declared: “Children are a gift from the LORD. They are a reward from Him” (Psalm 127:3). Children are not only “a gift from the LORD,” but a great responsibility before the LORD. Life is difficult, and without a doubt, one of the most difficult roles in life is “raising” our children. Children are a blessing, but sometimes they can “feel” like a curse, when the nights are long and the days are hard. We commend you, parents of Green Valley Christian School, for your immense and faithful efforts to this honorable, yet many times frustrating, and yet so fulfilling, God-given assignment of bringing up your children. We love your children and we have a great love and respect for you. We, Green Valley Christian School teachers, staff, and administrators, are grateful for the honorable opportunity you afford us to partner with you in your roles as fathers and mothers!
It is with a great degree of sadness for us that this will be the last year of Mr. Troy Martin’s service to us in GVCS. Yet, it is with a great degree of joy that we share with him and his family as they embark on their next calling as pastors of Trinity Covenant Church in Aptos! For fifteen years, Mr. Martin has served children and parents of GVCS faithfully and with much fruitfulness. We thank God for Troy and thank Troy for all he has given to make us all more successful in our efforts as families!
