Main information – This is a free walking tour. It lasts for about 3 and a half hours just show up. The tours start at 11am, 1pm, and 4pm. It starts at the Brandenburg Gate and the tour guides are wearing red New Europe t-shirts.
Main Sites Visited: Pariser Platz-One of the most well known squares in Berlin. Brandenburg Gate- A former city gate and symbol of Berlin. Above the gate
is the goddess of peace statue. The Reichstag- German house of parliament built in 1894. The New Holocaust Memorial- Official name is The Memorial to the
Murdered Jews of Europe. There is also a museum underneath that can be visited after the tour.

1945.

Checkpoint Charlie- Famous crossing point between East and West German. Gendarmenmarkt- A famous concert house where Symphony Orchestra plays. Bebelplatz- National Opera House. The Book Burning Memorial- Memorial of the disaster of 20,000 books that were burned by the
Nazis. Museum Island- Known for several internationally renowned museums. Neue Wache- Today is known as the German Memorial to the Victims of War and Tyranny. Note: These are just some of the places that are visited during the walking tour. Also if the tour seems too
much for them they can just pick and choose from these famous places and go on their own in their own time.
