* Hymn #234 “Crown Him with Many Crowns”

Scripture ~ John 20:1-18 Pastor Josh Rowley

Prayer of Confession (Unison) Pastor Ben PierceO God, the message of Easter has come again before we were ready to receive the enormity of it. We have left Jesus in the tomb, buried him in what is trivial, lest he upset our daily lives. The Jesus of long ago seems more comfortable to us than the Christ who is risen today in our midst. We confess our reluctance to let Jesus claim us and transform all of our days. O God, we need your forgiveness and healing.

Assurance of Forgiveness ~ Romans 8:34-35, 37-39
