Last weekend for Tamales for Seminarians
The Knights of Columbus will sell tamales after all weekend Masses this Saturday and Sunday, June 19/20. The tamales are prepared by a factory kitchen in Irving. Available fillings are pork, beef, chicken, and cheese. Tamales are packaged by half a dozen and are sold for $5 each. Proceeds are for the support of two seminarians:
Maximiliano Garcia and Diego Castro. Please pray for them in their formation to serve Christ and His Church El fin de semana pasado para Tamales para Seminaristas Caballeros de Colón venderá tamales después de todas las misas de fin de semana este sábado y domingo, 19/20 de junio. Communion to the Homebound
Some of the people most affected by the pandemic are the homebound, especially those in facilities. Visitation restrictions are finally lifting and those who have been isolated for so long are looking forward to having our Sunday worship shared with them. Please consider being part of this grace-filled ministry that brings communion to Catholic residents of local skilled nursing facilities and our homebound parishioners. The Bishop’s Invitational Golf Tournament was founded in 2011 as a Diocesan-wide event to raise money for more students to attend Catholic Schools in the Dallas area. To date, the tournament has raised almost $6 million, awarding scholarships to more than 3,400 students in this community.
