SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION Pre-Cana Class: All engaged couples are required to attend a Pre-Cana Program of Marriage Preparation. Our Parish offers this Program in the Fall & Spring. Call the Rectory Office for details and to register.
Pre-Jordan Class: After meeting with a priest and prior to their child’s Baptism, parents are required (God-parents are en-couraged) to attend this Program, held in the Rec-tory on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM.

Giving Hope to All
The 2019 Appeal has officially begun. The goal for this year is $12.5 million. Our Parish goal remains the same as last year, $58,261. During the 2018 Appeal, our Parishioners donated $43,146, achieving 74% of our goal. Information and pledge cards have been mailed to your homes. Pamphlets and pledge cards are also available at all Church Entrances.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD
9:30 AM Sunday Mass
Young school-age children experience the Read-ings from the Children’s Liturgy and can share their thoughts while doing an activity that relates to the Readings. They return to Mass and their families after the Prayer of the Faithful.
LITTLE CHURCH SCHOOL For 3-year olds through Kindergarten
The program includes religious story time and ac-tivities based on Sunday’s Gospel.
9:15 AM: Drop off children at the Convent; par-ents attend 9:30 AM Sunday Mass and pick up their children promptly after Mass.
Share Your Faith
Adults and high school and college students are needed as teachers and aides for these programs.
This is not a weekly commitment. Volunteers will be scheduled throughout the school year.
Sr. Mary Beth also needs volunteers to help with the PREP Program. Please consider sharing your time and faith.

Old Church Renovations Update Repairs have begun and are proceeding well. The four original trusses had cracks, causing the roof to sag. Appropriate repairs are being made to the trusses, the ceiling will be replaced, and other repairs are being made to the walls as needed. The finished product promises to be beautiful!

Sister Lisa Valentini, MSC, travels regularly with teams of young Missionaries from Philadelphia to the Dominican Republic. When the Sisters first vis-ited, villages there had no educational system. Now with help from MCA, one of the Pontifical Mission Societies, there are schools where children can learn about God’s love.
