Friday to take on the No. 21 Michigan Wolverines at 4 p.m. at the Varsity Tennis Center. The Bears (5-8) are looking to snap a seven-match losing skid facing the first of two-straight Big 10 opponents on the road. Baylor began the season 5-1, but the Bears have fallen on hard times in a tough schedule with four of their last seven losses coming vs. the ITA Top 25. The Wolverines (4-2) have three players ranked in the top 31 in the latest ITA singles rankings. Michigan is 4-1 vs. the Top 25 with its only loss to No. 2 North Carolina, which came Sunday 5-2. Baylor’s Livia Kraus is ranked No. 67 in singles and has an 8-4 record in dual-match play this season. Jessica Hinojosa is 9-4 on the singles court to help lead the Bears. After finishing with Michigan, Baylor will head to the Wolverines’ rival in Columbus, Ohio where the Bears will take on the Buckeyes of Ohio State Sunday at 11 a.m. That will follow with Baylor’s Big 12 home opener Thursday vs. TCU.
