Thanks, Brad FROM THE DESK OF THE WORTHY PRESIDENT As I write this, June is almost over and we start another year of fraternal activities at Massillon #190. We had our officer elections in May and our officer installation on June 3rd. There have been some changes and we wel- come 2 new faces to our officers group. Ray Jeske, our worthy president for the past 2 years has decided to take a well earned break. I want to thank Ray for his service and wish him the best. He was a fine president and will be missed. Mike Nalbach has moved from trustee and is our new aerie secretary. Good luck Mike. John Walsh opted not to run again as secretary and will serve as our Jr. Past worthy president. He will also serve as assistant secretary breaking Mike in on a very demanding job. Steve Yablonski has moved from conductor to fill the trustee opening. Again, good luck. Gerry Stopar who was our chaplain decided not to run again. I want to thank Gerry for his dedi- cation and service as an officer of Massillon 190. Joseph B. (Joe) Vilhosky is our new chaplain and as such I am confident he will do a fine job. Our other new face is Mike Lowery who will be our aerie conductor. As with our new chaplain I feel Mike will be outstanding. The other chairs remain filled with us old retreads and I ask for your prayers and support as we try to do our jobs to the best of our abil- ity. There are a lot of activities going on this summer and they are or will be posted in the grill room. Don't forget our annual picnic on July 21st at the K of C . Hope to see you at our aerie meetings on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month. Fraternally yours, Bob Fockler, Worthy President

Hello Sisters,

It looks like summer has finally arrived.

Attention: when you sign up a new member please inform her that she will be getting a call from our interviewing commit-tee. In fact, if you are signing her up in the aerie, ask the bar steward for an interview sheet, which they have in a drawer behind the bar. You can inter-view her right then. Put this sheet along with her applica-tion with $15.00 attached to it in my mail slot behind the bar. We are losing a lot of new applicants because they are not answering their phones or they don't return the call when a message has been left. An application is only valid for 6 months, after that you have to re-enroll.

Quite a few of our women are becoming dual members at other auxiliaries. To do this you must get in touch with me first. I will fill out a dual mem-bership card for that auxiliary

secretary. Price is $1.00 for the card, and then you pay those auxiliaries dues at the aerie you are joining.

Don't forget our spaghetti dinners on the last Sunday of each month. 3p.m. until? Cost is $6.00 with dessert for $1.00.if you would like to donate a dessert it would be greatly appreciat-ed. These dinners keep your yearly dues from being raised.

I want to welcome our new out-side guard, Donna Yablonski. Glad to have you aboard.

I was chosen mother of the year and Jim Youngdahl is father of the year. I look forward to work-ing with Jim this year.

Remember our sisters who may be confined to their homes, in the hospital, in a nursing home, or maybe a sister who's not feeling well. A card or a call can some-times do a miracle.

Hope to see you at the picnic at the K of C on July 21st. I also hope to see you at our auxiliary meetings on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 7pm.

Sincerely,

Your Auxi l iary Secretary, Judy Fockler

A Word From the Auxiliary Secretary

Aerie Secretary’s Corner This is my first month on the job everything is going good so far. Congrats to John Walsh for all his years of service he will still be around as assistant secre-tary so he is not completely retired yet. All of the offic-ers have been installed so we look forward to a good year for everyone. Remem-ber the picnic is July 21 at the Knights of Columbus so everyone come out and have a good time.

Let’s take a moment and welcome aboard new or re-enrolled members, since our last letter; Adam Arman, Jason Bryant, Douglas

Dentler, Joshua Elder, Jack Gardner, William Haggerty, Timothy Houck, Michael Kring, Roger Latham, Antho-ny Marcoccia, James Morris, Bruce Murdock, Randall

Ross, Walter Rueckert, Rol-land Skibicki Sr, Curt Skro-pits, Jack Urban.

Unfortunately we must say a sad goodbye to recently departed brothers Vernon Weisgarber and Robert Sferry (Track). Their seats will not be filled at meet-ings, and their Aerie will not forget them, may they rest in peace.

Thanks for your time,

Mike Nalbach, Secretary
