Introducing our new Business Manager, Marcia Vojtech. Marcia has worked in vari-ous management roles during her 26-year career at the Disneyland Resort and most re-cently was the operations manager at the Christ Cathedral Campus where she led the events, facilities, security and tour ministry teams as well as the Diocesan reception staff and the copy center/mailroom. You can con-tact her through the office or by email at [email protected].
Update regarding OC Catholic: OC Catholic newspaper, the official newspaper of the Diocese of Orange, will be printing on a reduced sched-ule during the summer months. The dates of production from now until the end of August will be: August 2 August 30 We will resume our regular weekly schedule beginning Sept. 6. The decision to reduce the paper’s print frequency is aligned with the diocesan-wide effort to contain costs dur-ing this difficult time. However, earlier this year, as budg-ets were reviewed, the Communications Department had already decided that because the summer months are typically slow for all media (people take vacations, adver-tisers often don’t advertise as consistently, and school is not in session) it wasn’t necessary to print every week. The OC Catholic team will continue to publish any and all important information digitally at occatholic.com, in Connect and in the OC Catholic newsletter.
Update from the Orange Catholic Foundation:
The Orange Catholic Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of James F. Normandin as the acting executive director for the foundation. James served as the president for Memorial Medical Cen-ter Foundation and was the vice president of legacy plan-ning at Memorial Care Health System. James will work closely with the foundation board of directors to help final-ize the transition of the Pastoral Services Appeal and cre-ate a strategic plan for the foundation as well as complete the search for a permanent executive director. Thank you for your continued support of the Orange Catholic Foundation and our mission to raise, manage, grow and grant funds with donor intent in support of the Diocese of Orange. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesi-tate to contact James Normandin at [email protected] or 714-282-3027.
