Every day we get news and information from all over the

The results of our surveyThe first audio broadcasting was about 1930.

Our grandparents: In their childhood they listened to the radio every day. The German name for the channel

was ”Volksempfänger”, which was a kind of inexpensive radio set produced under the Nazis in Germany.

There were news, the air raid warnings and quiz shows.

Our parents: In their childhoot they listened to news, music, sport events and other kinds of entertainment as

they do today.

Present time: The radio hasn‘t changed much since the childhood of our parents.

TV was presented about 1950.

Grandparents: Only very few people had enough money to buy a TV, so they met at a place where somebody had one to watch TV together. There

were news and some entertainment series.

The present time: TV has become very popular until now.
