Based on this scenario. we can say that (once we confirm that OK-1 is on site at the Superdome- they are due to arriveat 1am)...that we have a DMAT team setup onsite at the Superdome. The team at the Superdome has tremendous paexperience responding to Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and Hurricane Andrew in 1992. They also deployed to Tropical StormAllison in 2001. the World Trade Center in 2001 and the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995.

Although FEMA does not oversee evacuation and sheltering, we may feel the effects of local decisions pretty soon. Thcurrent population at the Superdome inNew Orleans is 26,000. That's a large crowd during a normal event. Among thshelter population are 400 special needs evacuees and 45-50 sick individuals who require hospitalization. The on-hanoxygen supply will likely run out in the next few hours. According to the ESFB folks, the local health officials havestruggled to put meaningful resource requests together. They have now requested 75-100 oxygen canisters with needfor a n additional 300 by Tuesday. This will likely be difficult to fill due to impending transportation limitations, but Iwillcheck to see if the request is Rlled.Seven trucks (5 water and 2 MREs) are less than 2 hours away from the Superdome. There were transportationproblems that tecyorar i ly stopped the convoy. Police escorts now accompany the trucks.Bottom line: Did FEMA fill requests from the state and local officialsDave

Please schedule Joe Scarborough this eveninq for 9pmCST period. Sooke with his producerand told him to call you. Mr. Brown wants to do this one.

Also, it is very important that time is allowed for Mr. Brown to eat dinner.Gievn that Baton Rouge is back to normal, restaurants are getting busy. He needs much mthat 20 or 30 minutes. We now have traffic to encounter to get to and from a location oh i s choise, followed by wait service from the restaurant staff, eating, etc. Thank youSharon WorthyPress S r w t r r y
