PROGRAM OVERVIEWThe Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing will help you develop the first-class communication and decision-making skills to become a talented marketing professional.
Marketing is the skill of making sales easier by developing the perfect mix of product, pricing, promotion and distribution for carefully-chosen target customers.
Professionals in marketing need good written and verbal communication skills, should enjoy working with people and, increasingly, must be able make real-time decisions based on statistical data analysis. The Marketing major will help you to develop these critical professional skills for an exciting career in this dynamic business discipline.
As a Marketing major at RIT Dubai you will be on course to becoming an Internet Marketing professional. Starting out with the basic marketing principles, you will progress to learn how Internet Marketing is weaved into a company’s traditional promotion mix.
Following a broad overview of Internet Marketing you’ll continue with Social Media Marketing and Search Engine Marketing and develop your strategic vision with Marketing Strategy and Marketing Research. Together with RIT’s emphasis on great writing and our famous internships (coops) and electives, such as Webpage Design, Professional Selling and Negotiation, these courses will turn you into a solid Internet Marketing professional.
POSSIBLE CAREER OPTIONS A career in marketing can take you in many di�erent directions, from sales and advertising to market research and brand management. However, in Dubai, the most common and attractive option for marketing professionals is Internet marketing and its related components, including social media marketing, content marketing and search engine marketing. Not only is there a strong demand for qualified candidates in such professions, but those with a well-developed strategic vision can expect highly rewarding career paths in these fields.
