ReportingtotheHeadofMarketingandCommunications,thisroleisakeypartofthemarketingandcommunicationsfunctionattheBlackDogInstitute.Thiswillprimarilyinvolveassistingintheexecutionofplannedmarketingandcommunicationactivitiesdevelopedinresponsetotheorganisation’sstrategicplan.Workingaspartofasmall,collaborativeteam,therolesupportsBlackDogInstitute’sonlineandofflinemarketingandcommunicationsneedstoeffectivelyengagewithexternalaudiencesincludingmentalhealthconsumers,healthprofessionals,donors,fundraisers,volunteers,businesses,researchersandotherstakeholdergroups. • Developnewcontentandleverageexistingcontentacrossprint,onlineandadvertisingchannelsinconsultationwiththeHeadofMarketingandCommunications.Thismayincludebutisnotlimitedtonewsstories,livedexperienceprofiles,factsheets,copywriting,researchexplainers.
• Coordinatethedesign,contentandproductionofmarketingcollateral,suchasbrochures,flyers,reportsandotherresources.
• Coordinatethedesign,contentandproductionofthedigital-firstAnnualReport.Liaisewithexternalsuppliersincludingdesigners,mailinghouses,printers,publishersandotherstakeholderstoensuretimelycompletionofallprojects.
• Editandproofreadcontentasneeded.• ProvidesupportandappropriatebrandingguidancetoensureBlackDog’sbrandisprotected
andportrayedappropriatelybyallstaff.• RespondtoenquiriesandrequestsfromexternalstakeholdersforBlackDogmentalhealth

• ArelevantuniversitydegreeinMarketing,CommunicationsorMediaand2years’workexperienceinacommunicationsormarketingrole.
• Exceptionalwrittencommunicationsskills.• Excellentinterpersonalandoralcommunicationsskillsandabilitytoworkinateam.• Highlevelofattentiontodetailingrammar,writingandproofreading.• Demonstratedexperienceinsuccessfullymanagingprojects,suchasdevelopmentofmarketing
