We have now 18 manufacturers on Voltimum and therefore each of them has 1 slot per month on the VoltiNEWS.

Each manufacturing partner will be reminded by email to submit his contribution for the forthcoming month in the last week of the preceding month.

Manufacturers not taking up their slot by end of each month will have their slot filled by extra news items from other manufacturers on a first come first served basis.

Expert Area – Progress thus far

•Identified that expert questions are important area of site. Avg 30 ‘good’ questions per month being sent to Voltimum experts with no promotion. •Voltimum unable to ‘police’ performance of experts in responding within 1 working day as agreed•No value being added to site. Experts having to answer same questions over and over again.•New functionality developed in Italy and presented to Expert Group in April 05.

•Expert Group decided on appropriate Categories and Sub-categories•Marketing Committee amended and approved categories in May 05•New area presented to UK board on 1st June 2005 – very enthusiastic, supportive and committed to success. See it not as a nuisance but as a very real commercial opportunity.•Area went live beginning June 2005 but not publicised•Debugging, testing and training during June 2005 – Training Guide circulated•Trade press advertisement tested in early July 2005.

•Voltimum can now police the site and a database of Q&As is building up.•Some partners not responding to questions which is dragging down the high standards set by all those who do.
