PICK YOUR FRIENDS WISELY

Wise friends make you wise, but you hurt yourself by going around with fools” (Proverbs 13:20).

One of the things that causes people to miss God’s plan is peer pressure. Most of us know what that was like as a kid or teenager, but that pressure actually continues into adulthood. There’s plenty of bad advice floating around out there, and too often we feel pressured to follow it. You can’t soar with the eagles if you’re running with the turkeys, so choose your friends wisely. If you keep company with wise friends, you’re going to become wise. We all worry about air pollution and water pollution. Have you ever worried about mind pollution? If you want to follow God’s direction, make sure your advice is from the right source. The Bible says in 1 John 3:7, “Do not let anyone lead you the wrong way! Christ is righteous. So to be like Christ a person must do what is right”. The difference in a thermometer and a thermostat is that a thermometer reflects the temperature of the environment and a thermostat sets the temperature of the environment. Every day, you’re faced with a decision: Are you going to be a thermostat or a thermometer. Choose wisely! PRAYER LIST: John Harkness (blood clot problems), Bear Garnsey, Mike Kirk, Rick Williams, Ron Kesek, John Dague, Brian Morningstar, Steve Eggleston, Lyle Roberts, Roger and Rose Fowler, Redman and Kathy Hundley, Howard Osborne, Randy and Liz, Haywood and Connie, Jim Reter, Rick Labusky, Dick Whelan. Call/email if you have any additions to this list 330-730-5325, [email protected]. GOD BLESS, Ray Notarian, Chaplain

Medina County Unit, Marine Corps League Auxiliary April 16 will be our next regularly scheduled meeting at Pat Obrien Chevrolet dealership at 6:45 pm. We do have things we need to discuss. Our meeting will be relaxed, auxiliary attire not required. Please try and bring a guest to the meeting. We do have a couple of members that have not attended a meeting in a long time. Please try and make this meeting. The next department meeting is at Quail Hollow in June. That is election time and it is a place that you do not need to spend the night just come from 11 am to 3 pm. Rose Fowler is doing much better and attended last month’s meeting. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on April 16. Hope everyone is in good health...
