Oil Dispersing Agent Detergent Liquid Soap Industrial Soap Multi-purpose Degreaser

When diluted with water (fresh or salt) will clean or disperse crude produced by the burning oilof fossil fuels. Green Unikleen limits vaporization, thus reducing the risk of fire. There aremany dispersing agents that may accomplish the same result. However, these formulations maycontain materials such as flammable solvents, chemicals and kerosene, which produce toxic ornoxious vapors. Furthermore, with some treatments, contaminants sink to the bottom, causingadditional damage to microorganisms and marine life.

General Characteristics

Green Unikleen is a balanced blend of selected surfactants. It is a light green liquid with no odor Solubility in water is complete in all proportions. Exposure to skin causes no damage. Extended exposure may cause some drying. Product contact with the eye may result in minor irritation, similar to shampoo. This

irritation disappears after rinsing with water. Oral toxicity is extremely low, with minor to no side effects. Marine life, wildlife, Microorganisms and resident bacteria can consume the organic ingredients with no ill effect.

APPLICATIONSOil Spills

When treating an oil spill with Green Unikleen, it can limit your liability and prevent additionaldetrimental effects to the environment. Applying Green Unikleen to an empty petroleum storagetank on land or aboard ship will aid in prevention of explosion and fire. When using the solution

for cleaning bilge's and engine rooms, the risks of explosion and fires are greatly reduced.

Extinguishing Petroleum-Based Fires

The Green Unikleen solution is extremely effective. Solvent based cleaning solutions orproducts normally used aboard the ships, contains flammable substances that contribute to thefume building and increase fire potential. Green Unikleen contains no flammable product andretards explosion and fire by attacking the bonding agents and compounds thus reducing vaporsand gases produced by petroleum derivatives.

Contaminated Underground Water Supplies

This can be accomplished by injection of a solution of Green Unikleen into the contaminatedwaters and assist in the standard suction retrieval methods by allowing the undulating action ofthe changing water level in the system to aid in the cleanup process. One of the biggestproblems in this type of cleanup is the residual absorbed in the porous material of the canopy andtrapped in the pockets of the irregular surface. With the use of Green Unikleen, as it passes withthe water to these pockets it removes the petroleum captured there and acts in a wicking actionand draws out the contaminating product absorbed in the porous canopy.

Contaminated Waterways, Vegetation, and Wildlife

Avert the contamination of our beaches, wetlands, waterways and oceans, limiting the effects on

the marine life, wildlife, vegetation and our food chain. Green Unikleen dispersed more than97% of each of the 16 crude oils and 6 refined products tested. IPAX GREEN UNIKLEEN CHALLENGES A LARGE SPILL.

Oil Spill and Response at Sea. We believe that general, mechanical recovery ability at searemains limited in effectiveness and is expensive. Several were encouraged by growing emphasison dispersant use for responses at sea. Improved dispersant effectiveness, and greatly reducedtoxicity, has made dispersant use the most effective means of protecting sensitive resources formany large oil spills at sea. Dispersant use is widely accepted in many areas around the world,especially in Europe. Encouragingly, its acceptance is now improving in US; here dispersantshave recently been used on several spills in Gulf of Mexico.

Using Green Unikleen as a strategy involves the use of chemicals to speed up the process ofnatural dispersion. The product when added to oil spill breaks up into small droplets forming thinemulsion which, disperses in the water column. In effect, they speed up the natural processes ofdispersion. In dispersed form the oil is subject to degradation by micro-organism, which occurnaturally in the sea. As a general rule, Green Unikleen, can be effective in dispersing most liquidoils and liquid water-in-oil emulsions with viscosities less than about 2000 centistokes.

There are several Green Unikleen applications:Hand application (sprayer)By aircraft spray system (for example ADDS PACK)By spray system installed on ships and boats.

The mix ratios for this type of cleanup range from 12 to 64 parts water to 1 part Green Unikleen.Methods of application are: a spraying system with a low to moderate volume and moderate tohigh pressure, capable of delivering metered concentrate or premixed solution with warm or hotwater, multi-jet spray head, hand brush, or any appropriate combination. Formulated for marine applications (replaces toxic and polluting cleaners)

Green Unikleen is a space age concentrate formulated for a wide range of applications. Thisenvironmentally safe cleaning concentrate is capable of tackling all type of cleaning jobs with noflammable solvents and will not irritate the skin.

Various strengths of Green Unikleen diluted with fresh or salt water will cleanup fuel spills,cosmoline, oils, heavy grease, nicotine, road dirt, and soot from burning fossil fuels, from anysurface, material or equipment. When Green Unikleen is used to disperse oils and fuel spills, oras a bilge cleaner, it will reduce the possibility of explosion or fire.

Bilge Cleaning, Ships, Barges, and Boats

The mix ratio range from 8 to 32 parts water to 1 part Green Unikleen, based on content type,solidification of contents, and bilge volume. Add Green Unikleen to the bilge before starting thecruise and let the boat movement on your trip emulsify all petroleum products and sludge,making it ready for pumping upon your return. The application can prevent explosion and firefrom the fume build up.

Fuel Spills around Docks, Storage Tanks, Transport Facilities and Equipment

Conveyor Systems, Fuel Storage Tanks and Boiler Coils, Heat Exchangers

Mix ratios range from 12 to 64 parts water to 1 part Green Unikleen, based on the concentrationof dirt and grime to be removed. Surface texture materials and equipment to be cleaned alsoaffect mix ratio. Methods of applications are: spraying system with low to moderate volume,moderate to high pressure delivering metered concentrate or pre-mixed solute with warm or hotwater. Steam would be used. Deflashing of fuel storage tanks is a mix ratio of 30 parts water to1 Green Unikleen.

General Ship Cleanup - boats, decks and hulls, stacks, vinyl surfaces, windows and port holes,fiberglass, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, rubber, carpeting, tile, wood, painted walls andvarnished surfaces, motors and engines.

Mix ratios range from 12 to 128 parts water to 1 part Green Unikleen, based on the concentrationof dirt and grime to be removed. Methods of applications are: spraying system with low to

moderate volume, moderate to high pressure delivering metered concentrate or pre-mixedsolution with warm or hot water. Steam would be used. Hand sponges or cloth, spray bottle,automatic scrubbing machine, brush or any combination of methods could be used.

Using the heaviest mix ratios with normal concentrations of natural bacteria and micromarinelife, project degradation complete within 180 days.

Stability, long-term storage and stockpiling. Green Unikleen may be stored in closed containersfor three (3) years or more with no breakdown or other change in its properties. Evaporationfrom open containers changes the physical properties, but should not reduce performance.

TOXICITY TEST. All tests were performed in accordance with regulations and requirements

of the USA, Canada, and State of California.Biodegradability. Certified Readily Biodegradable.Associated laboratories.Toxicity Bioassay Certified Non Hazardous.Environmental evaluation- 100% soluble in water, no impact on waste water treatment facilities.Agriculture and AgriFood Canada.Aigner,McLaughlin Asociatesinc., PortlandUnited States Dept of AgricultureFood Production and Inspection Branch.All tests were passed with no adverse effects observed. Results of Artemia Salia Nauplii testingfor LD/50 were considered unmeasurable and insignificant.Biodegradation tests in seawater indicated a half-life of 35 days. This is considered verysatisfactory for a product of this nature.12ml. of concentrate and diluted product (1 to 30) were administered to ducks using stomachtubes. No adverse effects were observed.

PERFORMANCE TESTS

Green Unikleen is capable of dispersing #6 oil in a better than satisfactory manner, passing thesinking test. No dispersed material was found to sink to the bottom after treatment with GreenUnikleen.

Product degradation, determined by the IR Spectroscopy Test using quantitative analysis, startedwith the following:

1400 mg/1 concentration of dispersant at a ratio of 1 part Green Unikleen to 30 parts water At 20 days the aged sample measured 1,000 mg/1. At this rate, degradation is complete in

approximately 90 days.

A fire extinguishing demonstration was conducted using benzene, diesel fuel and crude oil.In all cases, the fire was allowed to heat up to over 2,000 degrees before being extinguishedin less than two (2) minutes using a water 1:10 mix ratio.

Requires no special equipment and can be dispersed through any premixed or meteredspraying system.

Can be metered into the flow of fireboats water cannon, fire hose system aboard ships oraround storage tanks and the transport facilities.

An effective operation temperature range of5 to +105C and works efficiently when mixedwith fresh or seawater.

Works on all types of crude and petroleum fuels, which include #6 oil through lighter fuelsand gasoline.

Efficiency is increased when diluted in warm or hot water or steam. A new tool for rapid response and ease of deployment in case of spill emergency.
