Company history

Company founded in 1953.

First aluminium helideck was delivered in 1974.

First telescopic gangway delivered offshore in 1979.

Continued development during the 1980’s and 1990’s as major player in aluminium equipment for offshore/marine.

Bought by Norwegian energy giant “Norsk Hydro” in 1999

Management buy-out by current owners in 2005.

Based in Torvastad, Norway - outside the city of Haugesund - until 2012…


Marine Aluminium today

Partly acquired by Norwegian private equity company Norvestor in January 2012.

Brand new offices and production facilities at Husøy (Karmøy), Norway.
