Every real estate transaction comes with a life story. “Helping my clients through this
major life transaction and on to the next chapter of their story is what motivates me
as a Realtor®,” said Margaret Vinson, a recipient of the Circle of Excellence award at
Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty.
With her corporate background in executive-level marketing roles, Margaret Vinson
brings a rare perspective and skill set to her career in residential real estate. After 25
years in the investments industry, Margaret changed careers to become a Realtor®
with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, where she has found that her
background benefits her clients through attention to both the critical business
aspects of their real estate transactions, and to her clients’ lifestyle considerations
for home ownership.
Margaret is a native Houstonian with thorough knowledge of Houston’s centrally
located neighborhoods. A resident of Braeswood Place, she has lived in Bellaire,
Meyerland, Lynn Park and Spring Branch, and has witnessed first-hand the
redevelopment in these neighborhoods that has drawn young families and urban
professionals back to the central areas of the city.
Integrity, authenticity and service to others guide her, in both personal and
professional settings. Margaret’s community service includes being a Partner with
the Women’s Resource of Greater Houston, a sponsor for Mark Twain Elementary,
and a member of the PTO Board at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School. She is also
a Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday, rallying participation and
building community awareness of the role small businesses play. “Small businesses
help shape the culture of the neighborhood and have strong influence on home
values. As a Neighborhood Champion, I leverage my marketing talents to give back to
the community,” said Margaret.
When not working, Margaret enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, reading,
researching real estate trends and taking scuba diving trips.
A graduate of St. Agnes Academy, Margaret earned a degree in marketing from
Texas Tech University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She
received her MBA in finance from the University of Houston.
