Dear friends, When Jesus felt the crushing weight of obeying His Father's will in the garden, His task was not easy or painless, but He chose to obey for our sake. Heb. 12:2 explains that it was “for the joy that was set before him” that He endured the cross. As Easter approaches, we joyfully celebrate Christ's death and resurrection but realize that many of our friends, neighbors, and relatives haven't experienced the life saving gift Jesus paid for on that day. Our task might not seem easy or painless, but what a wonderful time to engage them in a discussion of the true meaning of Easter. Our prayer is that this Easter many will come to Christ through church ministries in our region and around the world. Your Co-laborers,

1. Praise the Lord for a good Men’s Adventure last month Steve Little did a great job speaking and our workshops were again well received. Note next year’s date: 22-23 Feb 2019.

2. Pray concerning our two remaining NF events this Spring: the ReCharge youth seminars and the Church Ministries Conference (see details in this newsletter and our web site) - that God would challenge teens spiritually and that our local church volunteers would be helped!

3. Pray for the Vogels in travel/ministry in the churches. 4. Continue to pray for our 16 churches without pastors. 5. Pray for our Executive Director and our Network Leadership

Team as they pursue the announced plan to find a NF Associate Director to work alongside Jim in serving our churches – with an eye on future Directorship as God leads. Progress is being made.

6. There are challenges in doing revitalization. Pray for our 3 NF works – and the leaders seeking to revive declining works across our state. And for the health of all our churches!
