LIFE TOGETHER Dear Friends, Happy Easter to you! Thank you for being a part of our parish community. All during these days of Holy Week, especially during the Triduum, in our comings and goings as the Church, we have expressed most deeply our identity as a Catholic Parish. Peering into the meanings of these recent days we have discovered our successes and our lacking’s in washing the feet of others; in being conscious of the magnitude of the Lord Jesus’ gift through his suffering and death for us; and in our renewal of baptismal promise, we have launched our way once again down the path of discipleship in the name of Christ Jesus. Christos Anesti! Christ is Risen! Thank you to the Church environment committee who worked all through Holy Week to prepare the Church for our worship; to the Choir and Musicians who practiced many weeks in preparation; to all the liturgical ministers who were so faithful in their service; and to the many visitors who shared in our Holy Week. Looking down the month, we celebrate two Sacraments of initiation: First Holy Communion with our children candidates; and Confirmation with our young adult candidates. During the Easter season we will spend each Sunday using the Gospels of Easter to explore what it means to be initiated and live initiated: living as one would in companionship with Christ. A reminder, we have our Parish Appreciation Supper on Saturday, May 4th beginning at 6:00pm. If you have been involved in any ministry in the Parish please come and join us so that we can say Thank you! I hope for all the blessings of the Risen Christ upon you and those you love.

MOVING? CHANGE OF ADDRESS? If you are moving out of the parish or have a change of address and wish to remain in the parish, PLEASE NOTIFY THE PARISH OFFICE. Every week, envelopes are returned to us and the parish has to pay the postage due. It can get quite costly. The post office will not forward envelopes to a new address even if you have filled out a mail forwarding form. If you let us know your plans soon enough, your envelope service can continue uninterrupted.

ADORATION “NOT JUST ANOTHER MEETING”

All are invited on Tuesdays to continue their worship and love of God at adoration. It is a visit, not a meeting. A visit of ‘love to love’. Bring whatever is in your heart and soul and leave it at the feet of the Lord for HE will be at yours. “Adoration for the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth”. -Mother Theresa Join us every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm for Eucharistic Adoration. Taking special time with our Lord is a great way to grow closer to Him.
