COLLABORATIVE PARISHES OF BEVERLY
MASS and CONFESSION SCHEDULE
Easter Sunday Of The Resurrecon Of The Lord
3
March 27, 2016 PARISH COLLABORATIVE INFORMATION
Fellow Parishioners,
The Saints Academy will have a set of "Core Values". These values were shared
with the current St. Mary's and St. John's school parents late last year. We would
like to share them with you now. Saints Academy aspires to be a community of life-long learners and achievers em-
powered to make a difference in the world today. These Core Values reflect our proud history and encompass our
aspiring vision for every student at Saints Academy.
“Discipleship”
It is through our faith that we bear witness to God, our Church, our families and ourselves. As students and teach-
ers, parents and grandparents, we seek to know, love and serve because we are Living “Disciples”.
“Partnership”
It is through the example of our Moms and Dads, lessons taught at home and reinforced in school, we learn to re-
spect one another. As teachers, parents and grandparents, we support one another because we are Family and
“Partners”.
“Scholarship”
It is through learning, achievement and personal growth that we affirm the gifts God has given us, acknowledge the
sacrifice of our families, and embody the knowledge gained from our teachers. As students and teachers, parents
and grandparents, we embrace learning as a gift through which we become Lifelong “Scholars”.
“Leadership”
It is through our commitment to personal excellence we fulfill the promise of God’s plan for us; we honor the dedica-
tion of our teachers; and we realize the hopes and aspirations of our families. As students and teachers, parents
and grandparents, we embrace our faith, values and knowledge as essential to being Christian “Leaders”.
“Citizenship”
It is through our personal commitment to a life of service we honor our families, our communities and the world
with vivid examples of what it means to be an educated and empowered Christian servant leader. As students and
teachers, parents and grandparents, we will be known by the life we lead and how we respond to being Good
“Citizens”.
At Easter, we celebrate the triumph of Christ over sin and death, which is the fulfillment of God’s promise to humanity.
During this holy time, please consider the priests of our Archdiocese who give so much to us. The average priest is in ministry for over 50 years or more, and has offered over 20,000 Masses. Please re-
member our priests in your prayers during this Holy season. Caring for the health and housing of these priests costs approximately $10 million a year. The Easter collection directly supports this need.
Dear Friends in Christ,
The great Feast of Easter renews our lives and restores our hope. It is a celebration of victory over sin and death, won for us by our God. What profound love is revealed in Jesus taking upon himself our guilt in His death and restoring our life in His
Resurrection! The darkness of the tomb has been replaced by the bright dawn of Resurrected Life.
As disciples of Christ, we are no longer to live in darkness but in light. We are an Easter people. By virtue of Baptism, we are children of the "Light". Let us ever more strive to live out our restored dignity in Christ. It is our Christian calling to illuminate
the world by the Light we have received. It is a Light of faith, that shows the path of righteousness and truth. It is a Light of hope, that overcomes obstacles and challenges. It is a Light of love, that brings about harmony, shows compassion and re-
veals the very face of our God.
May our alleluias ring forth with resounding echoes throughout this Easter Season!
With joyful blessings,
Fr. Mark

NEW DATE – April 2nd for the 2016 Boy Scout Electronic Equipment Recycling Fund Raiser
Due to requests from donors, a later drop off date of April 2, 2016 has been selected. The Boy Scouts of Troop 2 & Troop 6 Beverly have started their 8th annual Electronic Equipment Recycling Fundraiser. As of today, for a
fee, the Boy Scouts leaders will come to your homes or businesses to remove your unwanted working and non-working electronic equipment. The electronics will be recycled by East Coast Electronics Recycling of Shirley,
MA. None of the materials will end up in landfills. Examples of what is being collected are; TV sets, computers, monitors,
radios, exercise equipment, microwaves, computer peripherals, cell phones, dry cell batteries, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, stereos, fax machines, scanners, speakers, printers, and miscellaneous electronic components. We can also pick-up recycla-
