Vision Statement
New Mexico has achieved reliable, high-speed broadband in all regions of the state by implementing a strategic and coordinated approach to service deployment, network solutions, and infrastructure investment. This outcome has been achieved through regional stakeholder collaboration, decision-making based on solid data, increased public awareness, and sustained political action. Comprehensive digital literacy training is available statewide. There is equitable access to digital education, healthcare, and economic development resources in urban, rural, frontier, and tribal communities. Regional solutions, involving the private and public sectors, have led to shared infrastructure, increased financial resources for broadband, more culturally relevant content, and economic advantages to both providers and users.
