th March. The following Office

We welcome any parents to our sub-committee meetings. Meetings are held at the following times:

Fete / Parents & Friends – 7:00pm on 3rd
Wednesday of the month
School Council Meetings – 7:00pm on 4th Monday of the month
Fete We want our next school Fete to be the best one ever. There is a meeting next Wednesday night at 7:00pm for anyone interested in sharing their ideas and contacts with us. We would like to formulate the content of the Fete at this meeting, so we need to have lots of people to generate some interesting and unique ideas.
Please come along to the staffroom. You will be made welcome with enthusiasm and great coffee!

Parking Maroondah Council will be conducting some works in the drop off zone during the holidays. It is anticipated that the road (Tintern Ave) will be blocked off from Rozelle Ave during this time.
Easter Raffle Tickets will come home today for our Easter Raffle. 50c each, or 10 for $4.00. You only have a week to sell until the draw at Assembly on the last day (2:00pm). Extra tickets will be available from the office.
Illness We seem to have a lot of illness in the school at the moment. Please keep your child at home if they are sick. If they are unwell in the morning, there is a pretty good chance that they will not improve during the day. Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.

No Paper Newsletters starting Term 2 In a bid to cut back on paper usage and wastage, commencing in Term 2 2015, we will no longer be sending home hardcopy newsletters to all families. The newsletter will only be sent out via email The majority of our families are already having the newsletter emailed but if you are not receiving it this way, please provide the school with your email address.
The newsletter is also available on the school website every week. If you are unable to access the internet please contact the office and arrange for a newsletter to be sent home with your child.
Level 2 Social Dinner All level 2 Parents and Guardians,
Dinner at Club Kilsyth at 7:00pm on the 24th March.
Don’t forget to RSVP to Paula on 0402 847 293 for the Level 2 Dinner by tomorrow, 20th March.
Level 3 Social Opportunity The Level 3 get together is tomorrow after school, 20th March. Come along to Gracedale Park with your footy’s and cricket sets. No RSVP required.
Greetings Level 4 Parents Today is the Level 4 get together. Come on down with the kids to Gracedale Park after school for a catch up and chat with the other Level 4 Parents and Guardians. No RSVP required.

Dear Parent & Guardians We currently have a 12 month casual vacancy on School Council for this year (2015). The successful candidate will also become a member of a sub-committee of their choice. The sub-committees are;
- Parent & Friends
- Education
- Boomtec
- Finance
- Uniform
Both are held monthly and usually run for approx. 1—1 1/2 hours depending on the agenda. Expressions of interest and further questions please call Paula Llewellyn, School Council President on 0402 847 293.
Fete 2015!!! That’s right, it’s Fete year again! Are you able to be part of the committee??. A big event like this is not able to happen without lots of support. Our first meeting is on Wednesday 25th March at 7:00pm in the staffroom. We would love to see as many of you there as possible! All welcome!!
Lost Property As you go by the office over the next week, please take the time to look through the large tub of lost property on display in the foyer. We have everything from school jumpers, pants, drink bottles and even an umbrella waiting to be collected. We would love to return all these items to their owners before the school holidays.

Boomtec—Level 4 Students The first Boomtec for the year is next Friday, 27th March.
Pre purchase your tickets at the school office for $10.00. Tickets can be used for any Boomtec throughout 2015.
Where: Norwood Secondary College Hall, Byron Road, Ringwood North.
Time: 7:00pm—9:30pm sharp.

Competition. It will
be held on the hill
with the big rocks.
It will begin at the
start of lunchtime
straight after the
bell. The winner
will be the person
who flies their
plane the longest
distance. There
will be a prize for
first place. We
hope you join in or
come and watch
the fun.

Bakers Delight Hot Cross Buns Fundraiser Don’t forget to return your order forms for Easter Hot Cross Buns. For every packet of 6 ordered, Bakers Delight will donate $2.00 back to the school.
Orders due in tomorrow, Friday 20th March.
Hot Cross Buns will be delivered on Thursday 26th March.
