FIX Triple ply Super-Elastic for maximum comfort, less rollingresistance and easy installation onto rim.

FIX Bead structure consist of a special border made of highlyresistant rubber; guarantees a perfect fit on the rim with noneed for fastening rings.

FIX Improved rim fitting equals improved performance whichenhances the charatteristics of comfort and stability.

FIX A simple correspondence ring makes the removal of the tyrefrom the rim easier and eliminates the possibility of damagingthe bead’s profile.

FIX The tyre was designed to be used on LEMMERZ rims or otherrims with the same profiles and sizes.

The numeric value of W indicates the approximate width of the corresponding tyres in use.The effective widths of the Super-elastic ELTOR tyre are indicated in the tables which follow.

Specific versions: Super-Elastic

SPECIAL - SThis version was designed and realised especially for loaders and produced in the 20and 24 inch sizes. It is constructed using compounding, which is particularly resistantto lacerations. The tyre distinguishes itself for its resistance to wear and tear, jolts, cutsand abrasions; furthermore, for its elevated rigidity which provides stability to thevehicle and therefore, to the load. Used for vehicles which carry loads, usually inenvironments with extreme conditions such as scrap yards and dumps.

NON MARKING - NMThis is a yellow coloured tyre, designed not to leave dark marks on the ground surface.It is constructed with a yellow mixture, containing no dark substances, and maintainsall of the other physical and mechanical characteristics of the standard black tyre.Under every aspect, the non marking Super-elastic and Cushion tyres’ qualities are thesame as those of a standard version. It’s use is desirable in environments wherecleanliness is of great importance; for example in the pharmaceutical, food andbeverage, and electronic industries, or anywhere light coloured floors must stay clean.

HIGH CAPACITY - HLThis is a tyre designed with a highly rigid structure in comparison to standard tyres. Itis constructed with extremely hard mixtures which are able to maintain an excellentlevel of all of the other physical and mechanical characteristics. The distinguishingfeature of Super-elastic and Cushion tyres is the ability to sustain elevated capacitieswith minimal deformation under extreme loads. It is widely used in situations where thefundamental importance is maintaining the stability of the vehicle, and therefore, of theload. It is also utilised in other specific cases. It is suggested that a Marangonitechnician be contacted for consultation before selecting this version for use.

ANTISTATIC - ASThis tyre was designed to release the static electricity accumulated by the vehicle intothe ground. It is constructed with special additives which perform this action whilemaintaining an excellent level of all of the other physical and mechanical characteristics.It is typically used in paint and solvent factories, in gas tank deposits, in environmentswhere fine dust particles are easily flammable or in environments where theaccumulation of static electricity can cause explosions. In all of these cases, the use ofthis tyre increases the levels of safety. The AS Super-elastic and Cushion tyres are inconformance with the ISO/DIS 2883 standards. A certificate of conformity shall beprovided upon customers’ request.

Marangoni RING-PROTECTORS must have a very strongly definedthickness, which depends on the distance between the twin Super-elastic tyres.

How to define the thickness of the RING-PROTECTORSPlease refer to the below tables and following drawing to define thethickness of the RING-PROTECTORS.

ASSEMBLY ADVICE The assembly is possible only if the RING-PROTECTOR’s thickness iscorrect; if the thickness is too great the rims can not be completelyclosed; insufficent thickness doesen’t allow the locking of the RING-PROTECTOR.The needed compression of the RING-PROTECTOR is very low(approximately 2 mm).There is no need of special tools.The normal fixing bolts of the rims are long enough to shut the RING-PROTECTOR in its seat between the two Super-elastic tyres.The RING PROTECTOR has to be kept integral with one of the Super-elastic trough mastic, adhesive tape or similar: it has to maintain its positionin order to allow the correct positioning and fixing of the second tyre.

FITTING AND REMOVALPRESS FOR SUPER-ELASTICAND CUSHION TYRESThis press is able to perform fittingand removal operations of all sizesof super-elastic tyres (with exception of14.00-24). The machine’s fundamentalcharacteristics are: reability, speed,power and precision.The press is composed of acarpentered structure, an adjustablelower work platform with area of200 mm and an upper moveableplatform with 600 mm of usablecourse. The movement’s action isoil-pressure, which is manuallycontrolled. The press does notrequire a foundation.The press comes complete with CEcertification, an istruction Bookletfor the operations of fitting andremoval as well as Use andMaintenance Booklet. The equipment necessary for fittingand removal of the super-elasticand cushion tyres are soldseparately upon request.

• The installation equipment is availablefor wheel size from 8” to 20”.

• Each size is painted in a different colour.
