practice their handwriting and hone their fine motor skills while reinforcing letter sound & recognition. These booklets also provide a great resource to help kids build their vocabulary. These handwriting

booklets can be implemented in a variety of ways. You can introduce a letter and then complete the first page of the booklet together {whole/small group, etc.} and then have the kids work on them

throughout the week for morning work, word work, handwriting practice, etc. These little booklets can also be sent home as

handwriting/phonemic awareness “homework”. Whatever best fits the needs of your students!

pictures/vocabulary words corresponding with the letter sound {with the exception of X & Z…those booklets only contain 4 pictures/vocabulary

words}.
