    ELECTION NOTICEMandaree Public School District #36 will

    hold its annual school election on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020. The purpose of the election is to elect one person for a three-year term. Terry Beston, Elton Spotted Horse, RoseAnn John-son and Vivian Lone Fight-Hall have filed to be on the ballot.

    This election will be held by absentee ballot only. Prior to April 30th, the Office of the Sec-retary of State will mail absentee ballot appli-cations to all currently on record in the North Dakota central voter file. When completing this application be sure to select “School Election.” Persons who do not receive an ap-plication, may obtain an application from the school’s website or request for one by contact-ing the school business manager.

    the McKenzie County Landfill Scale House Construction project. Work will include, but is not limited to, constructing a new scale house building, relocating existing scale office trailer for temporary operations during construction, concrete pavement and civil site improve-ments, and other items noted in the bid docu-ments.

    Sealed bids shall be received by McKenzie County, at the office of the County Auditor, 201 5th Street NW, Suite 543, Watford City, ND 58854, until 2:00 p.m., C.T. on Friday, June 12, 2020. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted for this project. Sealed bid enve-lope shall clearly be marked “Bid For: Land-fill Scale House.”

    Bid documents including construction draw-ings and project specifications are available online from QuestCDN (eBidDoc #7108341). The cost for downloading (electronic) bid doc-uments is $15.     RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS LICENSE TO OPERATE

    Take notice that the North Dakota Depart-ment of Environmental Quality (NDDEQ) proposes to issue a Radioactive Materials Li-cense to Waste Management of North Dakota Energy Disposal Solutions, LLC for operation of the Blue Buttes Disposal Facility in ac-cordance with the North Dakota Radiological Health Rules. The facility is located at 10915 30th St. NW, Keene, ND 58847. The Blue Buttes Disposal Facility will accept Resource Conservation and Recover Act (RCRA)-ex-empt solid and liquid wastes generated during the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas which contain Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM). Blue Buttes Disposal will then segregate, grind and slurry the material for subsurface fracture injection. Any waste which is deemed unsuitable for in-jection will be alternatively disposed of at an approved disposal facility. Waste Management of North Dakota’s mailing address is 4952 Highway 85, Williston, ND 58801.

    Preliminary evaluations made by Depart-ment staff indicate that the facility will comply with all applicable North Dakota Radiological Health Rules and there will be no significant detrimental effects to the environment.

    A 30-day public comment period for the draft license will begin June 3, 2020 and end July 2, 2020. Comments should be directed in writing to the NDDEQ, Radiation Control Program, 918 E. Divide Avenue, Bismarck, North Dakota 58501-1947 or submitted elec-tronically to [email protected]. Comments must be received by the end of the public comment period to be considered in the final license de-termination. A public hearing regarding issu-ance of the license will he held if a significant degree of public interest exists as determined by the NDDEQ. Requests for a public hearing must be received in writing by the NDDEQ before the end of the public comment period.
