Whether your organization supports 1 mobile OS or 2 or more, your
organization will not have different success with mobile management
The overall success of mobile management was calculated by taking the average of the following items that were measured on a 6 point scale from 1 = Strongly Disagree to 6 = Strongly Agree:
•Mobile security incidents decreased •Helpdesk support requests decreased •Improved access for remote/mobile employees •End-user satisfaction increased •IT dept satisfaction increased •Costs decreased
Organizations that support multiple mobile OS do not observe
significantly different success with mobile management than
organizations that just support 1 OS.
If you want to support multiple mobile OS then don’t worry about there being a reduced amount of
mobile management success

Overall success of mobile management does not depend on the
type of policy you have
It does not matter if you have a corporate liable policy, an individual policy or a mixed policy,
there is no significant difference in the amount of overall mobile management success.
However, when considering each component of success, organizations that had a mixed policy had significantly lower success when it came to helpdesk support requests and decreasing costs.
Organizations that had an individual policy had significantly higher success scores when it came
to end-user satisfaction and access for remote/mobile employees
The overall success of mobile management was calculated by taking the average of the following items that were measured on a 6 point scale from 1 = Strongly Disagree to 6 = Strongly Agree:
•Mobile security incidents decreased •Helpdesk support requests decreased •Improved access for remote/mobile employees •End-user satisfaction increased •IT dept satisfaction increased •Costs decreased
