Yearly quality surveys for airlines and passengers are carried out in order to monitor their perceptionof the airport services.

The airport is focused on having the best image possible. Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport hasimplemented an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, certifiedaccording to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Many private companies have rewarded the airport´s work:

• Airport Food & Beverage Awards (FAB Awards) in 2014.

• Most recommendable European VIP lounge in 2013.

• Swiss International Airlines awarded the service provided to passengers at Malaga-Costa del Sol as the onewith higher quality among the European airports where they operate (“Station of the year 2011”).

• The Malaga-Costa del Sol expansion received an award from the Andalusia Economic Journal.
