At Silvera, we know you have unique housing needs, and we work hard to offer a continuum of housing and services to meet them. You might want housing for basic independent living. Or, you might want to consider one of our communities with enhanced services, including dining, housekeeping, pharmacists, hair stylists, health-care practitioners and visiting vendors.

At these communities, you can join our Active Aging programs, where the enhanced-services focus is wellness. Learn new skills, meet new people, share ideas and keep your body and mind active.

No matter which level of housing you select, our Resident Support Team can help you access government and other benefits and services you are entitled to, and can support you in many other ways.

To keep you connected, all communities have cable TV available for a fee. We have regular resident meetings, and you can always talk with our Property and Community Managers if you have questions.

We might even have options for other members of your family to live in the same, or a nearby, Silvera community.

And, when your life changes and you find you need more services and supports, Silvera will work with you to find new solutions that are right for you.

If you’re living on a lower or moderate income and are 65 or older, Silvera has a variety of communities with a range of services located throughout Calgary. One of them could be your next home.

Some of our communities are for basic independent living. Others offer enhanced services because, as you age, you might not want to keep doing it all yourself. It can get tiring cutting the grass, shovelling snow, cleaning the house or making dinner every night. You might want to take more time to have some fun and make new friends. And, we have communities that offer services for people living with mobility or early-stage memory challenges.

Basic services in all our communities include safe, secure, affordable housing for seniors, with the support of a Resident Support Team and 24-hour maintenance on call. Enhanced services include all basic services plus full dining services, weekly housekeeping, Active Aging programs and 24-hour non-medical staff on site.
