Magnuliter® MV / MH Features — MVM SeriesEnergy Efficient HIDFloodlighting FamilyMagnuliter Series is designed for applications such assports lighting, parks, recreational areas, parking lots, streetlighting, automobile sales lots and building facades.

HousingRugged, lightweight die cast aluminum finished withdurable bronze or optional gray Lektrocote® polyester. Ahinged, full front die cast aluminum door incorporating athermal shock and impact resistant glass lens allows easylamp access. A silicone gasket seals the door and housingfor weather tight operation. Door assemblies are secured bytwo rugged cast-in hinges and two Hubbell Card® treatedcaptive screws to prevent galvanic corrosion.

Beam DistributionA variety of beam distributions are offered to meetspecification requirements. Hubbell's Anodal® reflectorfinish seals the high purity aluminum for longconsistent performance.

Ballast ComponentsThe MV Series up to and including 400W are mounted on aremovable Powr-Panl® ballast tray. For easy servicing,remove four screws, and lift the entire Powr-Panl® out ofthe housing. A readily accessible cover plate simplifiesinstallation by allowing easy access to any of the QuadTap® ballast's four primary voltages (120/208/240/277.)1000W MH and 600W HPS have electrical componentsmounted to the luminaire for cool operation and maximumproduct life cycle. 600W Super Sodium™ (HPS) providesfour second hot re-strike. Units with "F" or "A" optics haveelectrical components mounted directly to the luminairebody for maximum optical design and efficiency. Severalmounting styles are available to meet specific design needs.All units are UL listed for wet locations. CSA certified foroutdoor and indoor use. Max ambient 25 °C. IP suitability,IP-55.

MVM SeriesThe MVM mounting is accomplished by a heavy duty 1/4"steel trunnion bracket finished in Hubbell's bronze oroptional gray Lektrocote® polyester and secured to thereinforced housing with exclusive Hubbell Gard™hardware.

OpticsTwin parabolic hydroformed reflectors produce an efficientwide beam distribution. MH (250-1000W) and HPS (150-600W) light sources are available.
