MusicaWear is known for

capturing backstage video

footage from fashion shows,

photo shoots and castings for

its Youtube channel. Now, the

brand’s Youtube video, How

to Survive a Model Casting, is

at approximately three

thousand views!

The video is a nearly three

minute long list of suggested do’s

and dont’s models should abide

by when attending a casting. It

captures hilarious footage from a

casting MusicaWear once

conducted in search of models for

a broadcast. The video highlights

things the models did at the

casting and suggests whether their

actions were wise things for

models to do when hoping to get

casted for an event.

Beginning this February,

MusicaWear will continue it’s

viral behind the scenes hobby by

posting a video that showcases an

insider’s look on what it is like to

put together a MusicaWear event.

The video will show everything

from meetings to bookings and

will highlight the decision making

process for organizing a show!

Q: What exactly is the Black

Line?

A: (Roxy) The Black Line is a

Limited Edition line

MusicaWear will be selling

during the month of February

2012. Every piece in the line

will be black; hence the name!

Q: What made you come up

with the idea to do

something so particular?

A: (Roxy) #1, it’s something

we’re doing for Black History

Month and #2 a lot of my

designs for 2012 just so

happened to be black for

some strange reason (laughs).

Q: What are some pieces that

we can expect to see in the

line?

A: (Rocky) Actually, it’s a

complete surprise! We’re

going to host a private viewing

party here in the city to debut the pieces then soon after we’ll officially

launch the line.

Q: Where will we be able to see the pieces?

“it’s

something

… for

Black

History

Month…”

A: (Roxy) Only on amazon.com

this February.

Q: So you guys have been

keeping a lot of secrets lately!

Is there any reason why we

haven’t been receiving updates

on Facebook, Twitter or

ANYWHERE about what

MusicaWear has been doing?

A: (Roxy, laughing) It’s all

Rocky’s fault. I literally have

been asking for months to let us

have our social networks

updated and she would always

say it’s a bad idea!

Q: Rocky? Why “a bad idea”?

Isn’t it a good idea to keep

your followers constantly

updated?

A: (Rocky) Absolutely, yes. It’s

just that I’m the type of person

who doesn’t really like to talk

about things until they’re

finalized. Being an independent

brand there’ve been many

times where we would be in the

middle of a project everyone

was anticipating and the project

would end up falling through

for whatever unfortunate

reason. Then, I would end up

feeling bad. So, these past few

months I’ve been sticking to my

morals and have been keeping

quiet about our upcoming

projects while they’re in

development.

Q: Can we get a hint at what

type of projects MusicaWear

has been working on?

A: (Rocky) Well, of course

there’s the “magazinette”. I’ll

give a hint that there’s

something involving a physical

location coming soon, but for

now we’re solely focusing on

our private viewing party and

The Black Line.

Q: Ok. And where can we find

out more information about all

those things as they come

along?

A: (Roxy) Definitely, all that and

more can be found on

musicawear.com
