Mobile88.com Sdn Bhd (“Mobile88”) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 as a private limited company on 27 July 2000 with authorised capital RM500,000 and paid up capital currently stand at RM500,000.

Mobile88 is an MSC status company, having been awarded the status by the Multimedia Development Corporation in 22 October 2002. The headquarters is located at No.63 & 65, JalanJejaka 7, Taman Maluri, Cheras, 55100, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company is operating the leading local IT technologies web portal (www.mobile88.com) in Malaysia since year 2000.

The company started to offer Online Payment Services called iPay88 (www.ipay88.com) to local online retailer or e-commerce merchant in the country by end of year 2006. There are more than 2000 online retailers or E-Commerce merchants using iPay88.

As a leading local Internet payment service provider, the company launched it multi-currency gateway in February of year 2009 and become the first and the only local regulated payment service provider that providing Internet payment processing for e-commerce in foreign currency.

iPay88 Sdn Bhd was incorporated by Mobile88 in year 2006 to help Mobile88 to market iPay88 multi-currency gateway globally.

Directors Biography

MR. CHAN KOK LONG

Aged 44, is the founder of Mobile88. He graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (“UKM”) with a Bachelor of Science (2nd class upper honours) in 1990. He is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK) and holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (CACA, UK).

Mr. Chan has more than 14 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries. He was the Sales Manager with MCSB Bhd, a company listed on the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd and the Business Development Manager with the Powerful Impact Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Berjaya Group of companies.

Mr. Chan’s last position was as a Channel Manager and a Marketing CommunicationManager in Time DotCom Bhd (formerly known as (Time Telekom Sdn Bhd), a company listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd. He conceptualized and implemented the Mobile88.com concept and is responsible for the turning Mobile88 into a successful technology focused company.

MR. LIM KOK HING

Aged 46, is the founder of Mobile88. He graduated from University of Malaya ("UM") with Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) in 1989. He holds a Certified Diploma in accounting and Finance from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountant (CACA, UK) and a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK). He has more than 11 years experience in building materials and oil and gas distribution industry. He was with ESSO Malaysia prior setting up Mobile88.Com Sdn Bhd group of companies in 2000.

As one of the pioneer distributor, he has gained extensive experience in the ICT industry, a fast growing industry and make himself received Outstanding Achievable Award by one of the local major Telco. He is the driving force behind the company group with his vision and foresight to steer through the high competitive domestic and regional market especially in the fast moving consumer products.
