SIP telephony SIP telephones use the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)to communicate with all the components in the network. Thanks to the SIP standard, all SIP telephonessupport a wide variety of SIP communication systemsand can give the demanding user access to businessapplications.

IP telephony With IP telephony or communication over IP, theInternet protocol enables voice communication inreal time using the existing data network. Digitizedspeech is compressed, packetized, transmitted, andre-converted at the receiver’s end.
