AGAPE FEAST The Agape Feast was a very special evening. During the evening as I was taking pictures I saw people bonding with other people and a sense of brotherly love going around the room. I felt God's presence throughout the place . It was a time for people to come together and not only to fellowship, but also to worship God. During the evening we had communion. I've had communion before, but this was different. I felt so much better and I was actually humbled. I'mnotthe best Christian there is but I do know that at the Agape Feast I personally was deeply moved, and for once I felt safe about who I am and very comfortable with those around me. It was a blessing I think that everybody felt

My Day at Pink Beds
On Sabbath morning, we all got on the buses and took a trip to Pink Beds. When we got there, we began worship. We formed groups to play out scenes from the bible for Sabbath school, and pastor Karen Miller gave a sermon. After a long wait, we ate haystacks for lunch. Then we socialized for a little while, and some people went on hikes, while others played games like Frisbee. I hung out with my friends and pla yed Mr. Gerst's cool 12-string guitar, which was the highlight of my day . Overall, I would say that our trip to Pink Beds was a fun and unforgettable one.

Saturday night, August 26, 2000, the Student Association held Anything Goes. They started out with vespers, where some of the students and Pastor Travis led the song service. Kristi Weis presented a short worship. The mattress race was the first event. Then we attempted to pile all the people from our class into the "mother ship." The juniors got 21 members of their class into the car. Next, they had to push the car as fast as they could down the track for fifty yards. There was an oil slide called the "greased widowmaker ", that a member of each class had to try and run up as fast as he could without slipping. It looked rather difficult. Afterward, there was a tug of war and a tire pull in the mud pit. It was all lots of fun.

Alumni Weekend is always an exciting time at Fletcher Academy . Students from the past and present gather to worship on Sabbath . On Saturday night the Alumni won the annual Alumni vs. All- Stars flag football game, then they headed up to the gym for a pick-up game of basket-ball. Each school year many of Fletcher Academy's students call the Guy's and Girl's dorms home. The dorms come fully equipped with Deans to serve as local parents. In addition to Deans, the students get the opprotunity to form lasting friendships with their "family" in the dorm. See if you can tell the difference between the boy's and girl's dorm rooms!

The Odyssey of the Min
In August you arrive to a mass of smiling faces, a storm of "hellos" and a barrage of questions, both scary and exciting. Then you realize you have a few questions of your own: What time does the next period start? How do I work this phone card? What exactly is Yankee Doodle Noodle? You soon realize that you are a part of Fletcher Academy's family. With some help, your questions will be answered.

Sports As soon as 6:30 p.m. rolls around, we are ready for Rec. Whether it is at the field or the gym, we try to drop everything so that we can either play games or socialize.
Anyone who would like to participate in the variety of sports opprotunities at Fletcher can do so by signing up. Flag-football, soccer, volleyball, basket-ball and soft-ball are the sports of choice at Rec time.
The most popular sport at Rec though is "social time!" During this time close friends get to spend time together. One of the best ways to exercise is to catch up on the latest news, get away from books and unwind is to go to Rec.

David, "You've Come A Long Way Baby!" Can't count the times you've wanted to quit, in utter frustration. This marks a major milestone in your life. Just remember this, and how it feels to have accomplished it. Then , with Jesus at the center, whatever you choose to do with your future , will be "Good Enough," and worth "hanging in there for." You are very precious to God and always will be! We love you and want you to know we'll always be there for you shouting, "Don't Quit! You can DO IT!"
Proud to be Yours, Mom and Dad
Dearest Shelli ,
Congratulations! Whatwonderful 18 years these have been and how quickly they have gone! We have enjoyed watching you grow from a precious little girl to a mature young lady. As your parents we wanted you to know how proud we are of you. Proud of all you are and what you will become. We know God has a purpose for your life and you will be a faithful worker for Him. So go forward with confidence knowing that we love you and will always be there for you, but most important , know that the One who created you will never leave you or forsake you.
