aeD USaGe COUrSeWe are offering an AED usage refresher course on Wednesday night, May 20, at 7:00 pm in the Garden Room. This demonstration of proper usage and basic CPR is just a chance for those who have already been certified in the use of the AED to recall and practice what they were taught when they received their certification. The class is also open to anyone who would like to familiarize themselves with using our AEDs even if they are not a certified user. The class will last approximately 45 minutes. The goal of the class is to educate us on the proper use of the AED and to initiate the 911 system.

CHUrCH OF CHrIST PearL HarBOrA number of our members have previously attended the Pearl Harbor Church of Christ in Hawaii. This congregation has historically consisted of American military personnel due to its close proximity to the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Since the establishment of this church in 1956, they have been leasing the land from the Department of the Navy. Now the Navy intends to sell this land and has given the congregation first right of refusal. The congregation has accepted this offer and is launching a land campaign to buy the property. They have until early 2016 to raise the funds. Should you be interested in supporting this fund raising effort, please visit their website (www.cocph.org) for more information.
