Things have been very busy at school as we prepare to open after a year of virtual and hybrid learning! Please be rest assured that we will be ready for our scholars on the first day of school Wednesday, Septem-ber 8th. Please find important events and dates below as we open the 2020-2021 school year!

During this school year, we will continue to explore the great man after which our school is named, Dr.

Charles T. Lunsford. Therefore, remaining “Lunsford Strong” and a continued focus monthly on the Kwan-

za principles. In addition, we are extremely excited about launching our Arts 4 ALL program which will

provide our scholars with embedded arts opportunities at every grade level.
