Luke 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

Jeremiah 5:14 Wherefore thus saith Yahveh Elohiym of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth

fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.

Yahveh made His words in Jeremiahs mouth fire, and the people wood. Fire destroysit also purifies.

Proverb 17:3 The fining pot [is] for silver, and the furnace for gold: but Yahveh trieth the hearts.

The furnace is for gold: but Yahveh trieth the hearts.

Jeremiah 23:29 [Is] not my word like as a fire? saith Yahveh; and like a hammer [that] breaketh the rock in pieces?

His Word like fire. A lot of things people do with fire Destroys, refines, for warmth, for light. Persecution and affliction comes for th

Words sake.

Matthew 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word,by and by he is offended.

- The very thing that gives us warmth and light in this hour, the Word, also brings persecution.

Isaiah 31:9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith Yahveh, whose fire [is

in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

Yahveh has brought us out of a furnace of fire Satans furnace. Wickedness burns as fire. (Isaiah 9:18)

D Yahvehs fire destroys the works of the flesh. Satans fire destroys the soul. (example of Satans fire: the pleasures of sin)

Isaiah 24:1-6 Behold, Yahveh maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the

inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so

with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the

giver of usury to him. The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for Yahveh hath spoken this word. The earth mourneth [and

fadeth away, the world languisheth [and] fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the

inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath th

curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Very few people have escaped it. When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8) Sin hardens, destroys, bur

up.

Malachi 3:2,3 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he [is] like a refiner's fire, and

like fullers' soap: And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold andsilver, that they may offer unto Yahveh an offering in righteousness.We do need to take heed. If El is trying to get out impurity; not refuse to let go of unrighteousness. The same fire that is trying to

purify us can burn us. He has His way in the whirlwind. (Nahum 1:3)

Isaiah 33:14-17 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouringfire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the ga

of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from

seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence [shall be] the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters [shall be

sure. Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Yahveh is referred to as the devouring fire. The vineyard of Yahveh (Isaiah 27:2,3) I Yahveh do keep it; I will water it every momen

lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day. Some have gotten offended at things, and the fire has kindled upon them.D Allow the fire to purify us.

Psalm 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Not being able to stand in the congregation of the righteous.

1 Corinthians 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the

fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

The fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is.

Hebrews 12:28,29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve Elohiym

acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For Eloheynu [is] a consuming fire.

I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire: Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will throughly

purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

vs 11 Where our hope is in allowing ourselves to go through these things being patient. These are the things Elohiym has ordained t

purify us. If El is dealing with us, if we seek Him, we can know He will help us, refine us. There is really hope in that in the fire.

2 Peter 1:19-21 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a

dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any

private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of Elohiym spake [as they were] moved by

the Holy Ghost.

The Word, prophecy came by His Spirit it was given by inspiration. Let Elohiym be true. (The devil tries to undermine faith in

scriptures.)

Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his

house upon a rock:

Hearing and doingnot coming up with excuses.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

To get a good understanding, need to go to Elohiym. He reveals these things to babes. They are hidden from the wise and prudent

(Luke 10:21). People do violence to the law butcher it. El opens the scriptures up to those that are humble who are seeking Him for

understanding. Els Word is sealed Need to seek Him, ask Him to open it up to us.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we Elohiym without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of Elohiym which ye

heard of us, ye received [it] not [as] the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of Elohiym, which effectually worketh also in you tha

believe.It actually has a power to work in us if we yield to it. It is grievous to see how the world has no esteem for it not quickened that theyneed to do it.

hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. (1 John 2:3)

The Spirit leads us to the Word.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but

whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

People hear what brothers say, then will go home and see what the Spirit will say That is the wrong spirit. The Spirit is the Word.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and

bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

One of the works of the Holy Ghost: reminds us of what Yeshua said. Leads us into His truth.

John 5:38,39 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye

think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

We need to have His Word abiding in us.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto Elohiym, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of

truth.

Not minimizing some things and blowing out of proportion other things.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched

the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

An eagerness to go by what the Word says. Put down our pride, and desire to follow exactly what Els Word says.

The simplicity that is in Mashiyach. (2 Corinthians 11:3)The adversary sometimes tries to make it seem complicated or difficult to know how to march upward to Zion.

D It is simple: a matter of looking into the mirror, comparing with our lives, seeking Him for the grace to do it. There will be trials (we

know).
