We endeavour to bring out the best in all students and rejoice in all their emo onal, social and academic achievements. You will see me around the school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and
Learning and Support
Thursdays. Feel free to say "Hi!" and ask any ques on. I'll do my best to answer your query and if needed, I'm happy to source the relevant informa on. Also, if you are keen to help out in the classrooms, the teachers would be very happy to have you. I will also be running various programs throughout the year that would benefit parent helpers. Helping out at school is a great way to show your child/ren that you value educa on along with being of assistance to other students and having the opportunity to get to know the school community. Please let me know if you are able and willing to help out.
Together we can make a great team!

Welcome back to all our savers at Luddenham Public School!
Luddenham PS has run a CBA Student Banking program in recent years, and along the way we have helped many students to develop one of the most important habits for success in life – saving.
Students who bank with the CBA through their school get to qualify for an award for every 10 deposits they make, whether they are large or small.
In 2017, the CBA will be introducing a new range of awards with a ‘Future Savers’ theme.
Cyber handball and Colour Change Markers, released in Term 1
3D Chalk Set and Tablet case, for release in Term 2
Smiley Emoji Keyring and Volt handball, for release in Term 3
Pencil + tech Case and Epic Earphones, for release in Term 4
From 2017, Student Banking accounts can be opened online by parents who already bank with CBA, as well as those who don’t.
Please note that schools are no longer involved in opening new accounts. New account applica ons may be done online or at a CBA branch.
Student banking day is on Thursday – once your account is open, please bring your bank book to the office. If you have any queries, please see Mrs Wilson (Thursday only) or Mrs Chapple.
Happy saving!

The safety of our students and their families are of the utmost importance to us, and we urge all our students and their families to make safe choices when walking or driving around our school.
In par cular:
Please hold your child’s hand when crossing the road.
Please do not double park because that makes it difficult to see when the road is safe to cross.
Please do not do U‐turns out the front of the school where visibility is limited due to the crest in the road .
Please do not wait for you child on the other side of the road.
We thank you for your help in keeping all our students safe.
School photos will be taken on Thursday 2nd March. Your child should have brought home an envelope from The School Photographer on Monday. If you would like to purchase photos you should:
Place correct money in the envelope if you are paying by cash. The school hands the envelopes directly to the photographer so change will not be given.

Record your online receipt number on the envelope if you are paying online
Send in a separate envelope for each child
Make sure envelopes are returned to the school on or before photo day
Please note that cheques are no longer accepted by The School Photographer.
If you would like to order a family photo, please ask for a separate envelope from the office
The Luddenham Show will be held on the 18th and
19th February and Mrs Wacker is happy to enter
children's school work. However, there are many
other opportuni es for the children (and parents)
to par cipate in categories that either can't be done
at school or are not prac cal, for example cooking
and or decora ng cakes, photography, scarecrow
making, scrapbooking and many, many more. The
last few years have seen less entries from children
and the Show Society would love to see more
par cipa on from children. This is a great way to
have fun being crea ve and contribu ng to our
community. There is no entry fee to compete in the
pavilion compe ons however, there is a $5 entry
fee for ice cream ea ng. See you at the Show.
