It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by developing the knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary, or adult learners, anywhere in the world. The TKT is not a teaching qualification. TKT modules Language and Background to Language Learning and Teaching Lesson Planning and Use of Resources for Language Teaching Managing the Teaching and Learning Process Cambridge require ments are that the TKT exam will not be held in any centre around the world if there are not 10 examination candidates booked for each exam. Please contact t he LSI centre to confirm if it is possible for your student(s) to sit the T KT exam at the end of their course.  Any student wishing to prepare for and take the TKT is stron gly advised to hav e at least an intermediate level of English.
