LOVING OTHERS TO ACTIONAnswering before listening is both stupid and rude. Proverbs 18:19
HOW TO LOVE OTHERS TO ACTION
Be a spiritual leader. Be a loveable leader. Be a constructive leader.
SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP IS LOVING
Fair Loving Humble
He has shown all you people what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness. James 3:18
If you can keep your head when everyone around is losing theirs, then you can actually help. R. Kipling
FAIR LEADERSHIP
“He had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.” Heb.2.17
LoaTzu (tao) “The evolved leader only leads when completely identified with the people, when their concerns become his.”
Maxwell “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

Communicating that people matter!
Turn around moments in your life – who was involved?
What you say and do matters.
CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
When you see good work.
When you see poor work.
When you see a dead end.
NEVER LET GOOD WORK GO UNNOTICED
Encourage one another daily and build each other up, just as you are doing. 1Thes.5:11
Be immediate. Be specific.
NEVER LET POOR WORK GO UNNOTICED
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” 2Tim.3.16
Keep it private. Keep it positive.

Practical guidance.
Sometimes I’ll say something like…
What works for me is . . . What has worked for you?
MISTAKES MEAN THEY ARE TRYING!
NEVER LET BAD HABITS GO UNNOTICED
“Slack habits and sloppy work are as bad as vandalism.” Pr.18:9 (Message)
Keep it private. Keep it positive.
Set the tone for a difficult personal conversation.
Be direct but gentle.
“Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Eph.4.2

Avoid Sidetracks!
I don’t mean to offend, but we need to go forward. I need you to show up without noticible body odor. I brought it up because it’s my job, and I want you to succeed.
NEVER LET BAD HABIT GO UNNOTICED
“Better is an open rebuke than hidden love.” Pr.27:5
Constructive leadership means you CARE! Caring means you NOTICE! What people do really matters.
CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
When you see good work. When you see poor work. When you see a dead end.

Wait.
Do not be sidetracked.
Your relationship is not the issue, it’s the behavior.
Do not fill in a silent gap with your own material.
