HARIDW CLEVELAND PERRIN was next to occupy this farm. He married §LORENCE SWART, daughter of John Swart and Lorena (Rayne) Typhair, (Oct. 17, 1884- August 1, 1964) born Domville, died Prescott.

railway accident, at Sununerstown. His wife was EVELYN BESSIE STEPHENSON, daughter of John Stephenson and Lillian Warren Dale, born Augusta July 16, 1915. There was no issue from this union.

When he retired to live in Prescott, Harlow sold the farm to Mr. and Mrs. HUGH JO!i.1ES, who came from Montreal. Hugh Jon.es was a captain on harbour vessels, and secured employment with the Prescott & Ogdensburg Ferry Company.

They did some farming, but built a Purina Mill and feed store there on the east part of the lot. This they operated, in addition t:o running school buses for Augusta Township School Area Board and later South urenville District High School.

1976 they sold the farm and business, reserving part of the land, to MR. A.ND MRS. JOHN VANDERMEY, who operate the farm machinecy business. The feed store is now operated and owned by BERRY FEEDS, with Don Francis employed as salesman.

Note: It is thought, but cannot now be proven, that the small stone structure adjoining the main house may have been an early residence on this lot, probably the second such house, following the first which would likely have been log building.
