LifeSketchLorene Marie Pruitt (83) of Glendale, Arizona entered herheavenlyhomeonOctober20,2018.ShewasbornonFebruary7,1935inWellman,IowatoIvanandSylvia(Schauf)Rhodes.LorenegraduatedfromAndersonHighSchoolandwentontogainherAssociatesDegreeatShastaCollegeinRedding,California.LorenemarriedArvardM.PruittonSeptember7,1952.Lorenewasaprofessionalseamstressandhadherownhomebusiness,makingclothingandweddingdressesincludingher daughter’s and their bridesmaid dresses. She was a very activemember at First Baptist Church and BowmanCommunity Church formanyyearsteachingSundaySchool,VacationBibleSchoolandLadiesBible Studies. She especially enjoyed leading and directing specialchurch events and programs. Lorene had a passion for writing andpublishedapoetrybookentitled,“JoyfulinAffliction”.Lorene leaves behind her four children Rosanne Pruitt, Craig (Mary)Pruitt, Lonnie (Kathy) Pruitt, and Terri (Richard) Jones; eightgrandchildren and five great grandchildren. She also leaves behindthreebrothers,Russell,WalterandDanielRhodes.LoreneisprecededinHeavenbyherhusbandandparents.Lorenewaslovedbyfamilyandfriendsandshewillbemissed.

The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff of GlencroftSeniorLivingfortheircompassionatecareofMomandamazingsupporttofamily.Also,toHospiceoftheValleyfortheirinvaluablecareofMomandsupportandguidancetofamily.
