Om GaneshaOm Datta Gurave namaha

This is the method to perform pooja or prayer to Guru bagavan , Lord Dakshinamoorthy. This God is capable of granting successful mariage life, good job and totally a peaceful life. The day devoted for this God is Thursday, His favorite color is yellow. He can grant the wishes of good people. It is also believed that His image has the power to nullify the bad effects of karma and other planets. His image is believed to radiate a yellow light that drives away evils.Reciting His slogam on Thursdays will bring luck, good proposals for unmarried ,etc.

Guru bagavan slogam: Devananja rishinanjaGurum Kanchana sanibambakthibootham thrilogesamtham namami Brahaspathim.

Pooja procedure:Locate a convenient time on Thursday (except 1.30 - 3.00 pm) to start this prayer. On wednesday night soak 1 tumbler white channa dhal in cold water after rinsing the dhal.In the morning take a white thread , soak it in turmeric solution and gather 108 channa dhals into a garland by using a sewing needle. Recite this prayer as many times as possible while making the garland. Then tie the two ends by telling our wishes .If there is a temple take it along with coconut, mullai flowers,Yellow vastram(Let it be a jacket piece ,may be useful to others) archanai things and fruits to a nearby temple with navagraha or Lord Dakshinamoorthy. Then give dakshinai to an archagar and perform Guru Pooja. continuously on Thursdays or whenever u get time. I am sure u will get all your dreams come true.If u don't have time to go to temple , make this garland , offer it to Guru bagvan and you can use that garland and the remaining dhals to make chundal. There is one more easy way too. You can make chundal , instead of making garland and ,perfom pooja. Then u can share it with your friends and eat.

The best pooja is to make the chundal (1/2 kg ) and give it to poor people. This is what God loves the most.
