Specific: are your goals particular, detailed, and your tasks clearly defined?

Measurable: can you identify a way to evaluate your progress to know when you have reached your goals?

Action-oriented: have you set steps, or actions, on a time line so you can measure your interim progress?

Goals Should be SMART

Realistic: can you reach these goals, but they are not too easy?

Timely: can you begin taking action on these goals immediately?
