OPTION 2 – NEW PASSENGERCORRIDOR PARALLEL TO UPRR AUSTIN SUB
• 2 tracks spaced 15-feet apart
• 55-foot wide right-of-way may vary depending on terrain;retaining walls could be used in some areas to minimizeright-of-way width
• Boarding platform accessible via bridge from station and parkingarea located outside of right-of-way
• Nearest freight and passenger tracks would be a minimumof 50-feet on center (A)
• In areas where space is limited and the 50-foot on centerminimum cannot be achieved, a barrier/crash wall wouldbe constructed (B)

OPTION 3 – I-35 CORRIDOR I-35 would serve as the spine for this option with proposed passengerrail service infrastructure located within and/or parallel to the existingI-35 right-of-way. Consideration will be given to elevated, at-gradeand tunnel segments. In Austin, consideration will be given to locatingpassenger rail service within the existing MoKan, MoPAC, CapitalMetro and/or SH 130/SH 45 corridors.
