The burner should be inspected for eidence of damage due to improperl! ad=ustedcombustion. The seeing of the oil no88le in relation to the di?user and othercomponents is important for proper 6ring and should be checked.The seal between oen liners is e1tremel! important. 9ts conditions should bechecked periodicall! and repairs made as necessar!.F#el Oil Strai"erThe fuel oil strainer screen must be remoed and cleaned at regular interals. 9t isadisable to remoe this screen each month and clean thoroughl! b! immersing insolent and blowing dr! with compressed air. To remoe and loosen coer cap screwbeing careful not to lose the copper gasket. Tap strainer coer gentl! to loosen. Checkcoer gasket. Slip pliers on to the top of the strainer and twist counter clockwise toremoe the gasket.
