Hall, SIc, , USNR, was brought to trial by Swnmary Court Martial aboard the USS SLATER (DE-766). He vias found guilty of the fol­lowing charge - Bringine intoxicating liquor into Navy Yard. The court sentenced the accused to be discharged from the U. S. Naval Service with a bad. conduct discharge and to perform extra police duties for a period of one (1) month. On 15 Feb. 1945 the convoninB authority approxed the proceedings, but the bad conduct VIas remitted on condition that Hall maintain a record satisfactory to his commanding officer for a period of six (6) months. fn 1'1 Feb. 1945, the sentence, as mitigated, was approved by the Immediate Superior in Command - Signed M.
