The Lotware Connector or Oracle, working with theLotware Print Server (or multiple Lotware Print Serv-

ers), sends the right label with the right data to the

right printer at the right time. This combination enables

Oracle-Based Applications to generate labels across

large networks o printers and empowers companies to

comply with current and uture barcode label and RFID

specications.

High Throughput Label Production

The Lotware Connector or Oracle speeds the process-

ing o label print requests via its High Speed QueuingSystem to support label printing on a large to massive

scale 100s to 1000s o printers.

Triggering Label Printing from Oracle-based

Applications

Label print requests can be triggered via any dened

Business Flow or Transaction within Oracle WMS or

Oracle MSCA such as Receipt, Ship Conrm, Pick

LOFTWARE CONNECTOR for ORACLE

Load, etc. Label requests can also be triggered via stored

procedures, database triggers, or a PL/SQL call rom anyOracle-Based Application.

What Happens If A Label Print Request Does Not Include

All Of The Required Data?

address all o the special business logic associated with

corporate marking systems without having to change

Oracle-Based Applications through additional program-

ming or customization. The basic unction o a Filter is

to nd and add missing data to a request coming rom

a Label Print Request transaction. Filters makes it

From a single Label Print Request, the Lotware Con-

nector or Oracle enables you to print multiple label ormats,

use multiple printer types, and automatically determine which

label or labels to print and where to print them.

Integration With Oracle WMS and Oracle MSCA

Reduces Time To Production

The Lotware Connector or Oracle installs directly into the

Oracle Database (in its own schema) as a stored procedure

through Oracles Synchronous Mode application program

interace (API). This integration is seamless with no program-

ming eort required. The Lotware Connector or Oracle sets

up all labels with associated data elements and target devices

using the conguration program in Oracle WMS and Oracle

MSCA. It also automatically updates the Oracle WMS label

printing interace or printing via the Lotware Connector or

Oracle (Oracle MSCA does not have a separate setup but uses

Oracle WMS proles or Label Print Mode).

Integration With Other Oracle-Based Applications

The Lotware Connector or Oracle is readily congurable to

support any Oracle-Based Application. A setup routine cre-

ates all the required database objects in the Oracle database

to operate and administer the Lotware Connector or Oracle

in the PL/SQL environment. In addition, related les, sample
