Hinweis zum Schutz gegen Elektrostatik1. Elektrostatisch gesicherte MOS-Arbeitspltze.

Der Umgang mit gegen Elektrostatik empfindlichen Bauteilenmu an einem elektrostatisch gesicherten MOS-Arbeitsplatzerfolgen.Ein elektrostatisch gesicherter MOS-Arbeitsplatz erdet berEntladungswiderstnde smtliche leitende Materialien ein-schlielich der Person. Nichtleiter werden durch Luftionisa-tion entladen. Die Integration von Ltkolben und Megertenin den gesicherten MOS-Arbeitsplatz ist nur mit Trenntrafo injedem der verwendeten Gerte mglich. Die Megerte-Mas-sen werden ebenfalls mit Entladungswiderstnden geerdet.

2. Gesicherte Verpackung durch leitfhige Materialien.Zum Schutz gegen Elektrostatik werden elektrisch leitendeKunststoffe fr Verpackung und Transportmittel verwendet.Leitende Kunststoffe gibt es als schwarze oder transparenteSchutzbeutel, Schaumstoff, Folien und als Behlter.Empfindliche Bauteile drfen nur am gesicherten MOS-Ar-beitsplatz aus der Verpackung entfernt bzw. verpackt wer-den.

Sicherheitshinweise/Vorschriften1. Instandsetzungen, nderungen und Prfung netzbetrieben-

er elektronischer Gerte und deren Zubehr drfen nur vonfachkundigen Personen ausgefhrt werden.

2. Es gelten die Vorschriften und Sicherheitshinweise nach VDE0701, Teil 200, und die Vorschriften und Sicherheitshinweisedes jeweiligen Landes!

3. VDE 0701, Teil 200, beinhaltet Vorschriften zur Instandset-zung, nderung und Prfung netzbetriebener elektronischerGerte und deren Zubehr.

4. Vor der Auslieferung des Gerts mu eine Sichtprfung desGerts und der Anschluleitungen (und soweit vorhanden,des Schutzleiters), und die Messung des Isolationswider-standes und des Ersatz-Ableitstromes nach VDE 0701, Teil200, durchgefhrt werden. Der niederohmige Durchgang desSchutzleiters ist durch Messung laut Vorschrift VDE 0701,Teil 1, nachzuweisen.

5. Die Vorschriften des jeweiligen Landes sind zustzlich zubeachten.

6. Bauteile mit dem Symbol gekennzeichnet, drfen nurdurch Originalteile ersetzt werden.

Demontage der RckwandZum Abnehmen der Rckwand werden die fnf Rckwand-schrauben R herausgedreht. Schraubenzieher in die AussparungV einfhren. Verriegelung nach unten drcken und gleichzeitigRckwand nach hinten schieben (Abb. 1).

Gertechassis in Reparaturstellung bringen1. Das Chassis hinten leicht anheben und vorsichtig nach hin-

ten aus dem Gert herausziehen (Abb. 2).2. Lsen Sie die Kabelfixsierungen. Drehen Sie jetzt das Chas-

sis um 90 entgegen dem Uhrzeiger und stellen Sie das Chas-sis hinter dem Gert ab (Abb. 3).

3. Nach erfolgter Reparatur/Einstellung mssen die Leitungenwieder in ihre ursprngliche Lage gebracht und fixiert wer-den.

Reparaturstellung fr die Leiterplatte Signal-Board1. Die Leiterplatte Signal-Board vom Hauptchassis (Basic-

Board) abnehmen; vorher mssen alle Anschlukabel abge-zogen werden.

2. Die vier Schrauben (A) (Abb. 4) aus der AV-Abdeckung ausKunststoff herausschrauben und die AV-Abdeckung durchAusclipsen von der Leiterplatte Signal-Board abnehmen.

3. Die vordere Metallabdeckung von der Leiterplatte Signal-Boardabnehmen (Abb. 5). Den gleichen Vorgang bei der hinteren Me-tallabdeckung wiederholen (Abb. 6).

4. Die drei Verlngerungskabel an die Leiterplatte Signal-Boardanschlieen; darauf achten, da die Leiterplatte Signal-Boarddie Leiterplatte Basic-Board nicht berhrt (Abb. 7).

5. Nach erfolgter Reparatur/Einstellung mssen smtliche Ka-bel wieder in ihre ursprngliche Lage gebracht und fixiertwerden.

Hinweis:Die Verlngerungskabel werden als Reparatur-Teilesatz unterder Bestell-Nr. 291-90274.920 geliefert.

Reparaturhinweis Signal - Board MediaPlusBei Fehlern auf dem Signal-Board gehen Sie bitte folgendermaen vor:

- Nehmen Sie den EAROM (I 1891) aus der Leiterplatte heraus.Das Gert ist weiterhin spielfhig.

- Bekommen Sie jetzt ein stehendes Bild, ist der EAROM defekt,(etwaige Geometriefehler bleiben dabei unbercksichtigt).

- Ist der Fehler weiterhin vorhanden, liegt das an einem anderenBauteil auf dem Signal-Board.

- wenn Sie das Signal-Board bei der Kundendienst-ZentraleKronach tauschen wollen, setzen Sie den EAROM aus demdefekten Signal-Board in das neue ein. So ersparen sie sichden Gerteabgleich und die Programmierung.

Wichtig!Am defekten Signal-Board entfernen Sie bitte die AV-Abdek-kung.

Note on electrostatic shielding1. Electrostatically shielded MOS workstations

Components sensitive to electrostatic discharge must behandled at workstation with electrostatic shielding. An elec-trostatically shielded MOS workstation is fitted with dischargeresistor which earth all conductive materials, including thetechnician working there. Dielectrics are discharged by airionisation. The use of soldering irons and measuring equip-ment at shielded workstation is only possible in conjunctionwith isolating transformer in each of the devices used. Meas-uring equipment chassis are also earthed with discharge re-sistors.

2. Shielded packaging using conductive materialsTo protect against electrostatic charges, electrically conduc-tive plastics are used for packaging and transport purposes.Conductive plastics are available in the form of transparentprotective bags, foam plastic, film sheeting or containers.Sensitive components requiring the use of protective pack-aging must only be packed and unpacked at shielded work-stations.

Safety warnings/regulations1. The repair, modification and testing of mains-operated elec-

tronic devices and their accessories must only be performedby qualified persons.

2. It is necessary to follow the regulations and safety warningsto VDE 0701, part 200, as well as the regulations and safetywarnings applicable in the country concerned.

3. VDE 0701, Part 2, contains regulations on the repair, modifi-cation and testing of mains-operated electronic devices andtheir accessories.

4. Before delivery, the device and the connecting leads (includ-ing any protective earth conductor fitted) must undergo visu-al inspection, and the insulation resistance and the equiva-lent leakage current must be measured according to VDE0701, part 200. The low-resistance continuity of the protec-tive earth conductor must be verified by measurement to VDEregulation 0701, part 1.

5. The regulations of the country concerned must also be ob-served.

6. Only genuine parts must be used for replacing componentsmarked with the symbol .

Rear panel removalUnscrew the five rear panel screws R to remove the rear panel.Insert screw driver into recess V. Depress interlocking and at thesame time slide rear panel to the rear (fig. 1).

How to move the chassis into the service position1. Hold and lift the rear of the chassis and gently pull the chas-

sis toward you (fig. 2).2. Undo the cable fixtures. Turn the chassis through 90anti-

clockwise and place the chassis behind the set (fig. 3).3. After servicing ensure all wiring is returned to its original po-

sition and fixed.

Service position for the signal board1. Remove the signal board from the main chassis (Basic board),

ensuring all leads are disconnected.2. Remove the four screws (A) (fig. 4) from the plastic AV cover

and unclip the AV cover from the signal board.3. Remove the front metal cover from the signal board (fig. 5).

Do the same for the rear metal cover (fig. 6).4. Fit the three extension leads to the signal board making sure

that the signal board does not touch the basic board (fig. 7).5. After servicing ensure all wiring is returned to its original po-

sition and fixed.Note:The extension lead wire kit is supplied as a service kit. (Partnumber 291-90274.920).

Repair information for the signal boardMediaPlus

There is any error on the signal board, please proceed as de-scribed:

- Remove the EAROM (I 1891) from the printed circuit board. TheTV is able to keep running.

- If you get a static picture, the EAROM is out of order (possiblegeometry errors remain unconsidered).

- If the error is still there, it's because of another component onthe signal board.

Note on electrostatic shielding1. Electrostatically shielded MOS workstations

Components sensitive to electrostatic discharge must behandled at workstation with electrostatic shielding. An elec-trostatically shielded MOS workstation is fitted with dischargeresistor which earth all conductive materials, including thetechnician working there. Dielectrics are discharged by airionisation. The use of soldering irons and measuring equip-ment at shielded workstation is only possible in conjunctionwith isolating transformer in each of the devices used. Meas-uring equipment chassis are also earthed with discharge re-sistors.

2. Shielded packaging using conductive materialsTo protect against electrostatic charges, electrically conduc-tive plastics are used for packaging and transport purposes.Conductive plastics are available in the form of transparentprotective bags, foam plastic, film sheeting or containers.Sensitive components requiring the use of protective pack-aging must only be packed and unpacked at shielded work-stations.

Safety warnings/regulations1. The repair, modification and testing of mains-operated elec-

tronic devices and their accessories must only be performedby qualified persons.

2. It is necessary to follow the regulations and safety warningsto VDE 0701, part 200, as well as the regulations and safetywarnings applicable in the country concerned.

3. VDE 0701, Part 2, contains regulations on the repair, modifi-cation and testing of mains-operated electronic devices andtheir accessories.

4. Before delivery, the device and the connecting leads (includ-ing any protective earth conductor fitted) must undergo visu-al inspection, and the insulation resistance and the equiva-lent leakage current must be measured according to VDE0701, part 200. The low-resistance continuity of the protec-tive earth conductor must be verified by measurement to VDEregulation 0701, part 1.

5. The regulations of the country concerned must also be ob-served.

6. Only genuine parts must be used for replacing componentsmarked with the symbol .

Rear panel removalUnscrew the five rear panel screws R to remove the rear panel.Insert screw driver into recess V. Depress interlocking and at thesame time slide rear panel to the rear (fig. 1).

How to move the chassis into the service position1. Hold and lift the rear of the chassis and gently pull the chas-

sis toward you (fig. 2).2. Undo the cable fixtures. Turn the chassis through 90anti-

clockwise and place the chassis behind the set (fig. 3).3. After servicing ensure all wiring is returned to its original po-

sition and fixed.

Service position for the signal board1. Remove the signal board from the main chassis (Basic board),

ensuring all leads are disconnected.2. Remove the four screws (A) (fig. 4) from the plastic AV cover

and unclip the AV cover from the signal board.3. Remove the front metal cover from the signal board (fig. 5).

Do the same for the rear metal cover (fig. 6).4. Fit the three extension leads to the signal board making sure

that the signal board does not touch the basic board (fig. 7).5. After servicing ensure all wiring is returned to its original po-

There is any error on the signal board, please proceed as de-scribed:

- Remove the EAROM (I 1891) from the printed circuit board. TheTV is able to keep running.

- If you get a static picture, the EAROM is out of order (possiblegeometry errors remain unconsidered).

- If the error is still there, it's because of another component onthe signal board.

Smontaggio del pannello posteriorePer togliere il pannello si svitano le cinque viti R del pannelloposteriore. Introdurre la punta del cacciavite nelle fessure V.Spingere il bloccaggio verso il basso e contemporaneamentefar scivolare il pannello posteriore indietro (fig. 1).

Come si porta il telaio in posizione di riparazione1. Alzare leggermente il telaio sulla parte posteriore ed estrarlo

cautamente dalla parte posteriore dellapparecchio (fig. 2).2. Allentare i fissaggi dei cavi. Girare il telaio di 90 verso sinis-

tra e appoggiare il telaio dietro lapparecchio (fig. 3).3. Dopo la riparazione/regolazione riportare i cablaggi nella

posizione originaria e fissarli.

Posizione di riparazione della piastra segnale1. Staccare la piastra segnale dal telaio principale (piastra di

base). Prima staccare tutti i cablaggi.2. Togliere le quattro viti (A) (fig. 4) dal coperchio di plastica

dellAV e, premendo i clip, smontare il coperchio dellAV dallapiastra segnale.

3. Togliere il coperchio di metallo anteriore dalla piastra seg-nale (fig. 5). Ripetere loperazione per il coperchio di metalloposteriore (fig. 6).

4. Collegare i tre cavi di prolunga alla piastra segnale facendoattenzione che la piastra di base non tocchi la piastra seg-nale (fig. 7.

5. Dopo la riparazione/regolazione, riportare i cablaggi nellaposizione originaria e fissarli.

1. Proteccin contra cargas electrostticas en puestos demanipulacin de mdulos MOSLa manipulacin de piezas sensibles contra cargas electros-tticas debe realizarse en puestos de manipulacin de m-dulos MOS protegidos contra dichas cargas.Para que un puesto de manipulacin de mdulos MOS estprotegido contra descargas electrostticas, todos los mate-riales conductores, includo el operario, deben conectarse atierra mediante resistencias de descarga. Los elementos noconductores deben descargarse mediante un ionizador deaire. La integracin de soldadores y aparatos de medicin enlos puestos de manipulacin de mdulos MOS slo se pue-de realizar con transformadores separadores en cada apa-rato utilizado. Tambin deben conectarse a tierra las masasde los aparatos de medicin utilizando resistencias de des-carga.
