Heathrow airportWe wanted to use Heathrow airport because even though we were low budget there were certain places like Heathrow that could make our opening look expensive and worth watching. However due to transport issues and time we were unable to make Heathrow and retreated.

Northolt hillsWe decided to use Northolt hills because it wasn’t a usual place for a thriller genre to be filmed. It was also a very diverse place so we were able to film many unusual things which worked with the unusual location. We tried to differentiate our thriller from others so this location really helped us achieve this.

South harrow graveyard

With our sub genre being horror thriller it was important that we had elements of typical horrors that any audience can recognise without it being too cliché. We decided to film at the entrance of the graveyard instead of the in the graveyard just to have elements of that horror fill.

My HouseA house is always an affective place to film a thriller in. This is initially because any audience would say they feel their most safe at home, so to watch something that changes that and puts you at risk in your own home would make the thriller that more intimidating. Because the house isn’t spacious there’s so many things that you could create to make the audience feel cautious and claustrophobic. The audience is meant to have an experience and feel for the protagonist , so a house is essential in creating this.
